Hey people. I need to know how I can install metamod? I've downloaded it, and extracted into \counter-strike source\cstrike\addons. There is metamod-folder, and inside it is bin and metaplugins.ini. What I need to write into metaplugins.ini line so The Island mod will work? I have downloaded The Island-mod too and extracted it into steamapps/sourcemods
"Could not load library client". WTF?? Steam and all my files on it are fully updated. Why do many mods say that error? Is there a fix for all "Could not load library client" errors? Because regardless of what I change the Steam App ID to, it has that error. And I have an awesome computer with no viruses, Windows 7, 10GB of RAM, a 1.5 TeraByte hard drive, a Beats Audio sound card, and an NVIDIA GeForce GT520 video card. I just don't get it. :/
It won't load for me. The Valve logo screen is pure white and then it pops up an error window saying "Can't find background image materials/console/startup_loading.vtf". What do I need to do in order to make it work?

I downloaded it and installed it but all i got was a folder! How do i play it?!!!
put that folder to sourcemods folder
example:C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods
or
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods
you have to restart steam
copy it into your mods directory in the steam directory
like D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods ?
