I'm confused. This mod has Americans in it??? El Alamein was a British battle and no Americans participated. Even at the second battle of El Alamein in November 1942 the Americans had just landed in Algeria and were nowhere near El Alamein. Look at the map you provided - no American forces!

It is zero percent historic so why call it El Alamein? Why not Kasserine Pass? It still wouldn't be historic but at least account for the Americans.
I have no problem with non-historical or alternate reality skirmishes if they are just called that. Why distort history for no good reason?
