TakHud Fury mod.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS UI GAMMA RELEASE QUALITY. IF YOU DON'T LIKE PLAYING AROUND WITH ADDONS, PLEASE DON'T INSTALL IT.
This compilation's massive and resource intensive. Users with slow PCs steer clear.
I play with a 1280x800 resolution and 0.94 UI scale. You *will* have to move stuff around if you don't use these settings. There's nothing that I can really do about that at this point.
I take NO responsibility if you break your World of Warcraft while using my compilation. You break it, you get both pieces.
I will be providing limited support for individual addons. They are the responsibility of the authors. I will provide support for getting some of the addons to play nice with each other, however, because that's part of using my UI, and thus my responsibility.
I really couldn't think of a better name for this UI, and when I showed it to one of my friends, she said exactly that, so that's why it's named that. If you have any suggestions, feel free to send them to me at chaos_grenade[at]hotmail[dot]com.
This is the UI that I use. I though I should release it to the general public seeing as how I love it so much. Warning: You may or may not recognize that you've entered World of Warcraft after you install my UI for the first time. Just take a look at the screenshot for proof. Everything's different. I think the only piece of default UI is the Chat Frame, and even that's not entirely Blizzard. I hate Blizzard's UI, for reason's that I won't discuss here, and so I basically thought about how I can change every single piece of it into something that I can tweak/customize/mold to my liking. Here's the end product. It's not a clean or beautiful UI, not by a long shot. If you're looking for that, you might want to look elsewhere. It might become that at some point in the future, but for right now, I'm going for function over form. Think of it as a work in progress.
Looting may cause your computer to hang for a second or two due to the amount of inventory mods that I have. I'm starting to dabble in LUA, so I might edit some of the addons to negate this. For now, live with it.
Note: I'm working on building an installer. For right now you're going to have to manually install the Saved Variables. Like I said, this is a work in progress.
Installation is fairly straightforward.
Download the .zip file
Extract everything to a temporary location. (Your Desktop perhaps?)
Optional: Backup your current UI. I recommend using UIBackup.
The next steps are required only if you would like to use my settings.
Copy the Interface folder to your World of Warcraft root directory (default: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
Copy the contents of the WTF-Account-[Your Account] folder to World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\
Copy the contents of the WTF-Account-[Your Account]-[Your Realm]-[Character Name] to World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\
Open World of Warcraft and enjoy giving Blizzard's UI the finger.
In no particular order:
Fix looting hang time.
Create idiot-proof installer. (I'm trying to learn NSIS. If anyone can help me out, drop me a line at my e-mail above.)
Remove overlapping functions/addons.
