The seventh demo of Tacos Mod. - - - - - - - - - - HOW TO INSTALL: Unrar(decompress, open) the "tacosmodA7.7z" file with a program that can decompress it(7-Zip, etc). Put the decompressed mod folder(tacosmodA7) in "*your installation path*\Soldiers - Heroes of World war II\mods". You may have to make an additional folder called "mods" in your main game folder. You activate the mod through main menu>mods, when in-game. - - - - - - - - - - Notable additions in Alpha-7: 2 new campaign missions & 1 new bonus mission. Flamethrower weapon added. Belgian & Dutch uniforms, as well as their equipment added. New textures for multiple weapons & ammo types. - - - - - - - - - - Weapon stats have been over-hauled: Pistols have been buffed. SMGs are now better in CQC & worse in long-range. MGs are now much more inaccurate whilst standing. Rifles no longer 1HK in CQC. Snipers long-range stats have been buffed.

The txt files or more files cannot be unrared, something is wrong with the rar file. I use winrar. Would you check it out?
I screwed up on the installation description, the file is a .7z, not a .rar. I personally use 7-Zip (the program) to compress & decompress files.
Just to make sure it actually works, I just downloaded, decompressed & played Alpha-7 (this download). It works fine, you just need a program that handles .7z files.

It works, thanks. It includes many missions as far as i can tell, the last one was barely visible, the letters were on the bottom of the screen and maybe there are more underneath? That mission is called "Bumblebees". Is it the last one on the list?
Bumblebees is the last mission on the bonus list.
I don't know how the game deals with too long lists, might have to start cutting the bonus list into multiple ones later. I've thought about looking into this & making support all the way down to 1280x720 if necessary, but never gotten around to it.
For reference, if anyone can't see all missions on the bonus list, you can start any mission using the coop mode, as it's mission list scrolls.

I just assumed I added ammunition to the item-trucks before for MP, but as it turns out I only did this for Finland-Poland faction. I also found a bug someone else found before, but refused to give enough information about to actually find it.
I'll give all factions ammo in the trucks now & remove obsolete "g43a" entrance, it'll will fix a CTD bug. Oh, don't use Finland-Poland in multiplayer btw, not until Alpha-8.

I am into Bumblebees mission. The main problem of the vanilla game remains: When enemies approach you, if you load the game just before they start approaching you, they stop moving or return to their previous spots.
You mean enemies forget about you having alerted them if you save & load?
Yes, exactly. Also, what do i have to do in the 5th campaign mission with the accessible objective in the belgian bunker? I am close to kill everyone inside the bunker, then what?
Some notes:
1.the failed mission message in the first mission streches too far towards the left and the right of the screen, so, it's not visible.
2.in the belgian bunker mission, there is a grenade that can be thrown only at 2 meters, what is the point of that? I don't remember the name of the grenade but it's like the M24.
3.Sometimes my soldiers don't shoot when the aggressive stance is selected even when the enemy is near.
4. some spelling errors in the texts.
If i remember something else, i'll let you know, good job so far.
I don't know how to edit the way the game saves things, so fixing save-scumming would be difficult.
You must kill all Belgians inside the bunker, it's the last objective. There are large gates/doors that can be blown up to access the various parts.
The "grenades" you mentioned are hollow-charge-explosives, Hafthohlladung. It looks like the M24, but it's more like a easily used TNT. It's got 13 explosive power, compared to the M24's 0.8. It's meant to blow up stationary equipment & those gates/doors.
First Blood got multiple different fail texts, including some fairly long ones. In case you're curious they are:
"The flieger squad was annihilated."
"The officer escaped. The squad became clinically depressed after this defeat, those who didn't die an agonising death in battle would become alcoholics, with exception of Fritz who committed suicide."
"The officer died & the squad lead by Wolfram were courts-martialed & executed for high treason."
I have fixed the spelling errors now, it should be correct in Alpha-8.
I have just only recently started to look into the AI, so fixing AI bugs won't be a thing anytime soon.
