Version 0.2 introduces lots of updated and new features such as
1. New infantry animations
2. Ottoman Unit Tree rehauled
3. Access to five hidden factions: Sultanate of Aceh (Ottomans 1870), Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (Tokugawa 1860), Empire of Ethiopia (Oman 1880), Mahdist Sudan (Zulu 1880), Tibet (Qing and Kokand 1860)
4. Extensive scriptwriting
5. Numerous optimizations such as improved mounts, ballistics, and aesthetics
6. Preparatory campaign work: introduction of more than 15 ship classes, texture improvements
7. New UI portraits for Western, Latin, and Muslim Factions
8. Tracers added to Maxim and Gatling Guns
Future Versions:
1. Complete overhaul of the main campaign. The campaign is mostly unplayable due to the economy where factions enter debt upon the first turn. We aim to fix this in the 1.0 release, as well as an overhaul of the Buildings, Unit Costs, and Replenishment.
2. Lots of new model updates for units as well as completely new models for the existing main campaign factions. We've already started on the European Theater of War factions such as Portugal, Belgium, Serbia, and Bulgaria.
3. Theater of War Campaigns being playable. Currently the North American, Great Game, European, and South American theaters of wars have starting positions set up and working maps. They're mostly awaiting new units!
4. Working Embassies. Minor factions will have access to major nations and some of their special units.
5. More custom settlements. This will more likely be a focus of later releases.
6. We had a huge development in Airships and Tanks. the next version should have a variety of fully implemented tanks and airships available in the Alternative History Campaign.

Installation
1) Drop the "steamsteel" folder into the mods directory
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods
2) Launch the mod with .bat file. there should also be a shortcut with an icon assigned to it in the steamsteel folder.
*Make sure your M2TW game has been patched with the 4GB memory patch otherwise you'll likely get crashes.
**ONLY Main and alt his Options are playable; others are still very WIP but you can look at the Euro, SA, NA, and Central Asia maps
PLS MAKE CAMPAIGN STABLE
found a bug, every time the "sultan's horse guard" enters to battle, it crashes to desktop, no matter if it is in campaign or custom battle, it appears to be the only unit in the morocco's army that shows that problem

Hello Hazado921, is the new 1.2 version compatible with the 1.1 version savegame?
Have now played many rounds in the old 1.1 version, with the annoying round crash error that I described in my first comment. I only want to install the 1.2 version if it is savegame compatible. Please let me know. Otherwise I will wait for your announced version in which you have completely fixed the campaign error. I really love this mod, but those rounds of crashes got so annoying at the end that I paused it. My favorite mod, once the bugs are fixed, conquered half the world with Prussia. And thank you for this great soundtrack from Prussia(Germany). If the soundtrack for the other races is just as awesome, that's insanely good. You have to do a lot of research for that! What I liked best was that the national anthem again contains the first and second verse that is no longer allowed to be sung in our country today. Great,thank you very very much for your work!

Unfortunately, the savegames from 1.1 aren't compatible with this version, 1.3 is on the way tho!
