Q1. It's have no any effect when execute BG_v2.00.exe file.
A.
-1. Install v1.16.1 StarCraft.
-2. Copy fmod.dll to BG and StarCraft.exe path. (fmod.dll is in BG zip file.)
-3. If you installed remastered StarCraft too, register v1.16.1 StarCraft.exe Path with registery utility.

Q2. I want to play BG MOD with other people.
A. First, the other people must execute BG MOD that same version too.
Next, you can join multiplayer games like original v1.16.1 StarCraft.
If you find v1.16.1 battle net server, I recommend iccup server. (https://iccup.com/en/starcraft/)

Q3. It's so laggy when play BG MOD.
A. If your windows version is at least 7, I recommend playing to window mode.
It may be because of windows compatibility problem.
since iccup server is no longer avaiable, the only alternative i am aware of is by using gameranger, radmin vpn or any other service that lets you connect to a shared network adress.
Also, one solution I found to launching the game was opening the exe file when it's inside the zip file.

Alright so I did a dozen or so matches, and there were only 2 problems that I saw.
1. KMC AI will sometimes not advance in tech tree nor attack, resulting in eternal camping.
2. There's a crash with a weird error that randomly occurs in some maps at the start of a match, and I think it has something to do with the Hybrid Lab not being able to spawn in.
1. Because, original ai is zerg, can't fix that.
2. Can I get those maps?

The last 2 are a hit or miss, sometimes it works, sometimes it don't.

How can I open the mod in the map editor?

When I start up the mod, everything is fine, but the in-game texts are shown as gibberish somehow, specifically the mission messages. Any advice on how to fix this?
Are you aware of the building extension landing bug ?
when near the right side of the map, the game can validate an area for extension building but cannot do it. The player can just put his building further away from the map side, but the ai ends up lifting and landing indefinitly his building.

The problem is the text (objectives, intro of missions), instead of showing up some text in the dialoge or objective it shows a combination of letters and numbers, like a code.

Why the Fck are you guys bundling the mods with viruses!?
Moddb was always the place for me to find awesome mods, Why the hell are you guys including viruses on the installers of the mods? I also found a VIRUS on starcraft TC included in the patch. This should be reported and taken down!
Stop spreading accusations just because you are a noob and you don't know that some antiviruses flag some files as malicious, because they can't authenticate them. Stop it right here so i won't report you.
Actually, I don't know what I should say to modder, but forgive me, I think they are too ambitious to make this game hard. I've played this game several times, and I noticed if the AI / COM in this game is somehow BIT SMARTER compared to the one in Original Starcraft. They are know how to keep harrasing you, attacking the weakest part of your base, create some diversion, cannot be lured easily, launching their units to your base whenever you're busy attacking enemy, etc. As far as I know, they never did such a thing in Original Starcraft if I remember correctly.
I don't mind about COM elite units (although they're pretty annoying sometimes), but.....please read this. I've watched the replay after completing the game, and WHAT THE HELL YOU GIVE THE AI 2000 MINERALS AND GAS AFTER SEVERAL MINUTES HAS BEEN PASSED? No wonder they build air units faster than they normally could in original game.
In my opinion, this is such a cheap trick, too unfair, and isn't the correct way to make the game harder !!!

They should make it more fair so any newcomers or non-starcraft veteran players can also enjoy this game without make them feel frustrated.
Seriously, that 2000 resources for AI cheat, what's wrong with their mind? -_-
And one more thing. If you play Use Map Setting, this MOD requires "Expansion Custom Level" triggers so the AI will work properly. If you set to Original Custom Level or Expansion / Original Campaign Insane, they won't do anything
