Description

Full version for Rebellion Version 1.94. This version features fully integrated feature sets for the last two DLC. Use Minor Factions to your advantage as early points of conflict and late game power focuses, unless you're the Borg. In which case, no cigar for you. See the news post for more details.

:) <3

Still my favorite sins mod. The other trek mods are good; but this one feels closest to the tv shows.

Yeah, even STA3 massively underpowers The Borg making it not all that great. This mod though doesn't do them dirty, making it the best of the bunch.

I'm 100% sure this is a problem on your end.

Are you using 7Zip to unzip this, or something else?

If you are using 7Zip, it's probably a corrupted download. You can check the archive for a bad download testing it with 7Zip.

If you'd like some real time help, join me in our chat room on Steam and I'll help you get this resolved. S.team

We used to have this problem all the time with Moddb several years back, probably just a quirk of the network path to you.

Why doesn't SOA2 have any titan ship?

Technically speaking, there are four titans. The ATR-4107, Crystalline Entity, Unknown Probe, and Doomsday Machine. :)

Star Trek isn't a show about super ships. It's a show about crews. A singular ship, that takes twice as much command, needs to be twice as powerful to be worth it. The leveling ships are already an example of improvement by crew. The crews gain experience, and make their ships substantially better.

We could do the Enterprise perhaps as a better Sovereign, but only that terrible Scimitar is a fitting example of a one off super ship. From a canon perspective, restricting anything else to a single ship, would be horrible.

Star Wars, on the other hand, is perfectly suited to titans.

I downloaded and extracted the archive fine.

What program are you using to unzip it? If it's not 7Zip, time to switch archive software.

I use winzip.
I used 7zip now and its doesnt give an error message.
Game crashes anyways when using Romulan, Borg or Dominion race.
Works only with federation and kligon so far

This mod is not being worked on presently. It is, however, fully functional and any issues running it will be on your end. I'll help you figure this out, but information on the problem will be neccessary.

Some general trouble shooting tips:
Did you unzip the mod directly into the mods folder, or did you unzip it into an extra container? The folder structure should be like so C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.xx\SOA2\Game Info

Did you get the 0.9.1R update and unzip it to the same directory? Same as above, misplaced extra folders in there will cause you issues.

Are you attempting to load the mod in game, or are you manually editing the EnabledMods.txt file? This file can be found in the mods folder, make it read like so:
TXT
Version 0
enabledModNameCount 1
enabledModName "SOA2"

What is the checksum? It should be 122866217. You can find this in the game settings under the mods tab, which should show SOA2 as the only enabled mod.

What is the error message? If you haven't tried, run the game with the dev exe, this can be selected by clicking the down arrow on the play button in the sins splash screen. Your mod directory will need to be copied and renamed as "Mods-Rebellion v1.xx DEV"

If none of this helps, we have a group chat room on Steam. Some time when we're both online, I can walk you through issues in real time.

Looks like moddb is having issues. Click where it says to try another mirror when the tab pops up. Some of their mirrors are down too, but others are up.

I'll keep an eye on this and reupload to see if it helps should the problem persist.

Nope.
DLC is integrated, but not required.
