This is a space map for Star Wars: Battlefront 2. It functions much the same as stock space battles, but adds a few new twists to these classic scenarios and increases their scale, as well as intensity.

--Installation:--
1. Download the file.
2. Go to your downloads folder and extract the files and put them into your Lucasarts/Star Wars Battlefront II/GameData/addon folder.
3. Play!

----STORY:----
The Clone Wars drag on. The Republic's clone legions battle confederate forces across the galaxy, but both sides are in a stalemate. To tip the balance in the Republic's favor, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine launches an initiative to set up training facilities on the planet of Carida, home to numerous dynamic climates ideally suited for training in any combat scenario, to assist in readying additional clone legions sooner. Seeking to put an end to the Republic's expansion plans, the CIS launches an assault on the planet, but before the invasion can commence, they must deal with the clone fleet stationed in orbit.

--------Known Issues--------
1. The shield generator inside the Droid Control Ship can't be destroyed via explosives (grenades, time bombs, etc.,) but rockets still work. I have no idea how to fix this. To compensate I lowered the health of the generator.
2. The AI for the CIS won't repair the turret mainframe located on the Trade Federation Cruiser. This is due to vehicle notification ranges. I can't strike a balance between them fixing it and the AI getting into fighters. It was either one or the other.
A really big space map with a lot of ships! The republic gets 3 venators and the CIS a Lucrehulk!
A lot more going on in this map than in the regular space maps and the AI lands with dropships in the enemy hangar which makes everything a bit more interesting!

I was pretty impressed by this mod. This might be the only space mod I have ever seen the AI actually land in hangars. That was a very nice touch that I would like to see in more space maps! Also, being able to control the big turrets was really cool.

Heya! Does this include actual cockpits for first person view?
Unfortunately it does not. I have neither the resources or the capability to do much of anything in the way of UI editing :\
I probably should learn how to do that though...
I have a problem. The map has no ships, and the score is in the negatives. any fix?
The score is supposed to be in the negatives, as if it is set to the default 0 the map will end very quickly, even if the cap is set at 300. So that's normal!
But for your other problem, I'm not entirely sure what could be causing it. I've never had this problem reported before. Is there just no fighters or are all of the big ships gone too?
Hey guys, as you have probably heard, Multiplayer is back for SWBF2 with a surprise update from Disney! Woohoo!
However, it seems the update has broken a lot of mods. If someone who uses a steam copy of the game could tell me if this map is working or not, it would be much appreciated. I would do this myself, but I own a disc copy!

I heavily enjoy space maps and this one was no different. When I finished playing i felt amazed at how good this mod is. I hope the dev keeps making awesome space maps.
My only issue while playing was that the clone marines icon for the DC-15S was moved diagonally to the right but that is simply a small nitpick.
Anyway I give this mod 10/10

Anyway, really glad you enjoyed the map! It's been great to see how positively received it's been from the community. I'm definitely going to keep making space maps, but lately I just haven't been feeling inspired. Couple that with finishing college then, going to work on a Masters Degree...yeah, haven't had a lot of time.
