Install Instuctions for SMOD: Tactical Detal 5 Full Install
These instuctions are for new players, or player who are reinstalling SMOD: Tactical Delta 5.
- download and extract "SMODT_5_LIMITED_RELEASE.rar" into your /sourcemods/
- Warning, this overwrites your SMOD install, if you don't want to do this, please follow the "Alternative Install instuctions"
- Install any Tactical Updates files into the /sourcemods/smod directory (see below)
- Install any Tactical Fixes into the /sourcemods/smod/ directory (none currentl)
- Play.

- Depth of Feild (DX9)
- Motion Blur (DX9)
- Vertex Blur (DX9)
- Laser Sights
- Real Reflex Sights
- 3rd Person
- Adjustable Special Effects
- Adjustable Blood & Gore (Realistic, Action Movie, Horror Movie)
- Recharging HP System (simular to Call of Duty, Halo, or Metal of Honor)
- Wound Effects (Being hurt is disorienting)

game has an engine error when i start...does somebody know how to fix this?
I have an engine error too.
I know how to fix that.
-First go to your steam games
-Right click on Smod-Tactical
-Click Properties, then Set Launch Options
-Type in -dxlevel 90 (If you have Windows XP)
-Or type in -dxlevel 100 (If you have Windows Vista)
-Then click OK :)

Can you help me? I have installed SMOD, and have extracted it into the SourceMods folder, and restarted Steam. It still won't show up! do you know how to get it to work? Please reply as soon as possible.

No. oh, yes. with some, VERY MAJOR TWEAKS AND REBUILD OF THE SOURCE CODE !!
I get those errors sometimes when steam isn't used . . . much. but you should try running half-life 2 and maybe do a steam restart, or system restart. it works here :)

you need to own and have installed, half life 2, half life 2 deathmatch, counter strike source, day of efeat source, and um half life 2 lost coast!
You do not need Day of Defeat: Source, no.

maybe if your smod doesn't work then... i think you should replace the old one. or deleting te old one, and then install the new one. But if u try this i recommend u to put the old one on a disk, because if the new one doesn't work then at least u don' have to install it again..
