The much awaited initial Phase 2 release featuring most of the American Cruisers & destroyers.
Some issues remain from previous releases and performance will take a hit if you allow enemy aircraft to get too close to your fleet. I thought this was on account of the colliders but this wasn't the case. I'll be seeking help to resolve this issue but until then this is the best I can manage.
New bugs/issues/errors:
Catapults rotate the wrong way to launch aircraft
Single torpedoes can't be launched, only full spreads
Performance decrease when enemy aircraft inside small caliber weapons range

You can't really destroy the enemy fleet by using your aircraft in the big map mode... Those AAs just too powerful.
And I am having a big performance loss during the combat sometimes.

The performance issue is from small caliber AA on the new USN models. Something about how the game handles that set of projectiles hammers game performance. I'll try to address that in the future.
i love this mod but i have one deal breaker with it and it's the damage tweaks
normally you need 1-4 torpidos to destroy ship and 2-7 dive bombs
in this mode i had to use over 20 torpidos and 40+ dive bombs to destroy a BB which is just too much
The damage mechanics are a fickle thing. Obviously the mod isn't complete yet but once all the new models are in a final sweep and balance will be required.
In the mean time, you're welcome to make any changes you wish to make the mod more fun/playable for yourself.

How do you install this mod?
take the unzipped folder and place it into this location:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Evil Twin Artworks\Victory At Sea Pacific\Mods\
Then it will show up on the MOD page you access from the main game menu.
So under that MOD directory you will have 1 folder:
SpecTRe's Improved Realism
and inside that will be all the CSV files and XML files and 3 folders ,aircraftsprites,shipsprites,assetbundles.
it says i do not have GenericShipName.csv
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I have the files downloaded and in the mod folder but it's saying it can't read the stats for shipdefinitions.csv. Line 1 expected 26 values but got 10. I've tried several mod versions and they all say the same thing for me. I have a fresh install of the game also.
