I LOVE YOU! I've wanted this for so long! Are you planning on adding cockpits for some of the smaller land vehicles like the atst? If not, whatever, this alone makes me happy!
ME TOO! Now i wont have to play my star wars battlefront 1 only to see the 1st view star fighter, i can simply install this mod and play as i wish!

Not sure if you figured this out yet, but if you have the CWEM (clone wars era mod) you can use the White Clone Army and The Droid Army .lvls for cockpits and it wont affect the clone wars era mod units.
Before I download, I'm curious as to what the mod changes about the troopers? Does it change the textures of the sides? Or does it change the weapons? What does this particular file change aside from the cockpits?
nothing it's the default soldiers and vehicles from SWBF2

There are 4 folders in this download, if i only install the All folder do i get only the ships cocpits without the soldiers? thanks!
Is there any way to make this compatible with the Battlefront Evolved mod?
not that i know. The cockpits are a massive component from the files i cant seperate it
Could you see if you can get perms from the Battlefront Evovled creators, to make a cockpit merged patch? I know many people including myself treat that mod as a lifeline, and for good reason, it add's in some really HQ stuff and this would be the icing on the cake.

There are some spaces where the models for the first person cockpit views cut out and you can just see through them. don't know if this can be fixed, but just thought I'd point that bug out. Plus are you gonna add first person view to scout droids, rotating infantry turrets, and tanks?
I put all the files in the gamedata folder but when I launch a game it doesn't work
Cool mod! However I noticed it's missing the first person mode of the normal rotating infantry turrets. SWB1 had that, could you do it on SWB2 as well?
Also as the user xbomp said, could you also check out the Scout Droid and the various Tanks?
