- All 6 factions rebalanced... again
- New Halo faction added
- GC Updated but still work in progress
- New orbital defense sats added to some factions

its pretty cool besides the fact that the conquest dont work as of yea and when it does work it will not be a free roam or like regular conquest. There will also be no land units which kinda breaks it for me anyways. I also understand that it would take a long time to do land units as well but for just the space skirmish gameplay its pretty cool. Gets really repetitive though without a proper conquest map. Besides these things its an ok mod to play every now and then maybe with a friend or something. Not real good on single player though.
Just tried it. Love the newly added sfx! But I'm sad you didn't finish B5, really wanted to try that. And not sure you noticed this or it was just a small glitch, but when I called in a Tiger Class ship (BSG) into the fight, it launched fighters, but it didn't shoot a single shot what-so-ever! It was just sitting there while getting shot at by a Ha'Tak! Other than that, it worked fine!

I managed to run an older version a while ago but i got a new graphics card since then.
problems: Starships troopers owns all, aswell as the barrage ability of the BCs that stargate has. i dont like the fact there no hard points, and also that the space stations are really weak always. easter egg ships * other then peacekeeper command ship* dont do anything and sit there absording a crapload of damage. I was playing SG GC conquering the planets* nicely done btw :D but when i attacked the wraith i goit an error :D the events triggers work btw anubis joined me after i kicked his *** with the barrag3e ability of BCs :D if i spot anymore ill post it :D
*btw i no balance may not have come in this Version but hey gotta say it*
well the new balancing is in this version lol
as for the other issues, ive had an excpetion on the wraith planet as well but ive never been able to ID why. And it doesn't always happen
As for the barrage, i tried to limit its power, while copying the capacity shown by daedalus in the battle of the void
other than that ill look into and keep them coming
I don't know what to do, Spino. I've tried everything. Redownloaded it, removed and replaced the folders in the Data, tried changing my resolution, etc. It just seems that the HUD doesn't want to work properly for me. I don't know what else to do.
SO built a fleet of ships to max capacity, about 780 pop with al space stations upgrade from stagate to starwars in GC. when i attacked the mass effect boss, i tired to bring in reinforcements, but this green box in the center of my screen appeared and blocked me from doing anything else :( i couldnt finish the campaign cause of it.( so ****** cause it took me hours to fight my way to mass effect) and btw when i got to each o the space, aall the planets had and insane amount of ships waiting for starship troopers when i conquered the last planet the retreated and i saw a massive fleet go to one of my other planets, startrek did the same thing.
update, i was able to get the green box off by reloading the game and i found fought against the nightmare child with my fleet. easy way to kill it was using the borgs assimilate ability
btw is there going to be a galaxy X class dreadnought for the star trek faction? I think they will need it to stay competitive against the other factions.
There is no way to fix this until Spino and his team can figure out a way to patch it. It has also happened to me and Crimson_Deadpool. Must I ask if you use Windows XP, too?
Stargate's way too OPed IMO, specifically the Asgard Beam. It fires way too fast, about 3 shots every second and a half, and those ships were killing units that were supposedly on the same tier as them without taking a scratch. Cylon Raiders, Heavy Raiders and Raptors have similar issues - they fire too fast or do too much damage per shot when compared to other bombers or fighters that are supposedly just as strong.
true but all other ships die so fast against other factions IMO BCs are worthless as are hataks (all kinds) and ori suck.
BTW what star trek units have the borg assimilate ability, cause i was playing GC and when i attacked the federation, every battle i fought ingame with out auto resolve was filled with my ships being taken over with no borg cube present.
and also ive foudn that the AI has the ability to build as many ships as they want, even though I as a player have limits to what ships i can have.
your not the first to mention this to me. Ive looked into it and i have no idea how this is happening. Ive looked over the trek code and the only thing with bribe is the cube... im totally confused.
As for build limits ur right the AI cheats
i use vista also and im glad to hear there is a patch for this and great game Spino, cant wait to see what else you and your team comes up with next XD

i figured out my problems the swfoc will not run if i am using more then 2gb of ram

Awww I can't play because of the freaking Vista 64bit Exception. I have tried the XML Fix too.
odd try removing the graphics something or other from xml files see if that helps

i'm using windows vista and the menu's are completely messed up too
its part of the textures folder, trying ot work out why this happens in osme systems and not in others... its jsut going to take time sorry

yeah when i went to conquer the last planet in STarship trooper, THey had like 50 of those cosair bug ships. damn things are hard to kill lol
