Welcome to SerenityJediEngine 2.0. The mod will primarily be built with Saber and Gun combat in mind. The code will be built using aspects from the Open Jedi Project and Open Jedi Knight code base. I intend to keep the mod very small and will not be adding any extra models or maps. It will however contain full support for Jedi Outcast and Academy. A special thanks from Jace Solaris to Darth Martyr for giving me permission to include his Kylo Ren's Lightsaber in this build. The beginnings of a single player class system has also been added. Fixed small bug where enemies were not attacking when using weapon melee. Improved NPC Counter Attack and Counter block abilities. Block point system added for Saber blocking bolts and Sabers. SJE-DE specialized-Edition also included (Press BUTTON_USE+BUTTON_WALKING to manual block).
is this version free from "exttra models" like superbattle droid?
Yes. Superbattledroids, battledroids etc, Are removed from the Main campaign but can be spawned in using the ingame spawn feature.

i have a few things to report why the bots always keep saying ''roger,roger,roger''?(might be a bug...but the 2018 version that was not happening) and yeah after a few moments of gameplay it crashes my game(again the 2018 version crashing was not an issue) so now i ask something i need to delete my 2018 version and put only 2019 version in the folder? or theres no problem at all in have both installed? i dont know if this this is the reason of all my issues.(because theres no info about keep or delete the 2018 version)...and yeah i did a clean install i deleted all my mods before install 2019 version.
Thanks for reporting the "roger" response bug. As for why your game is bugging out and crashing. I have fully debugged the code and found 0 bugs. However it may be that the 2018 version is conflicting with the 2019 version. Try removing all files of the 2018 version just to be safe. And ensure you start the mod with SerenityJediEngine2019-MP.x86 application for MP or SerenityJediEngine2019-SP.x86 application for sp. Using the "old" .bat files to start the mod is no longer required. I have updated the build to version .6. Try re downloading the new version again and hopefully this will fix your problems.
Hi can u fix troops moment? make them move like in original game not like Jedi! And some imperial workers and officers replaced with reborn dark Jedi, can u set original model back? Also in despecialized edition chanter cant not set his lightsaber on belt. Can u fix this bugs? Can u also disable model dismemberment with shooting weapons or at least make it optional? TY!

So I put in the assets from Outcast, is there a way when playing jedi academy to not play as a kyle clone while not removing the assets?
when putting the assets from jedi outcast into jedi academy dont put all 4 put the first 3 (0,1,and 2) rename the three asset files by putting "0_" into the outcast files

I played the Outcast and Academy games on my Windows 8.1 system but could not fix the game crashing issues with trying to run these games on Windows 10.
I have been searching to see if anyone had taken the JA/JO source code and programmed it into a new game engine which can run on the Windows 10 system and then came across your SerenityJediEngine project.
Is your project only a mod or does it fit the search parameters I mentioned above?
This mod was built on a windows 10 system, coded and debugged using Visual Studio 2017 and recently debugged using Visual studio 2019 preview on a fully up to date windows 10 system. The majority (where possible) of Jedi outcast required code alterations/additions have been added to the most up to date version of OpenJK(Jedi Academy engine). To summarise, This mod contains the most recent code using the most recent programs with the intention of running on the most recent systems. That's not to say "This mod is perfect", but it is as good as it can possibly be and is constantly being worked and improved on to give the best experience possible. My advice... Use an up to date windows 10 system, Use a legal CD windows version of Jedi Academy, Don't ever put mods in the base folder, and follow the instructions carefully and you cant go wrong.

Well, the only bad thing i find in the MP is that not all the maps works. Even the mod game maps won't work besides the original maps... And other models wont get a saber if you don't use an original model like Luke and do the command /model ****
Some said the opposite about it but i do believe that the MP's damage is perfect. 1 hit to kill on a certain part of the body is extremely good and that makes things even more exciting! I loved how the game is even more realistic now with this mod, JKA went to another level with this mod. All i wish is that there was a dedicated public server for us to play.
Using different models. The mod has a class system, so if a model is a jedi model it should use a light saber, if the model is a gunner it should use a gun. About 150 models are supported but not every one. Mainly official starwars models. Also, if you don't have the Jedi Outcast assets installed in to your base folder then the jedi outcast maps (deathstar, etc) wont work.
That makes sense ;P

I would like to report some strange things. I used in single player only.
1) If I set the resolution to 4K there is an error. The view point zooms to the middle low center of the screen and I wasn't able to do anything. I had to rewrite the setting in the SerenityJediEngine2019-SP.cfg to get rid of this error. So, the 4K choosable but can not usable. (It also happens in the original version, too when I write this resolution in the cfg)
2) I can select Kyle Katarn skins only at the character creation at the beginning of the game.
3) The lightsaber does not come back when I throw it away. I have to "fire" again. (Is this normal?)
And a question, how can I lower the lightsaber blade? In the original i had to press the '1' button for this.

Sorry about the 4k problem, the game was not designed for 4k and is being a little overstretched to say the least. What settings did you use?
4) why does not shows any data the console after what I typed in?
For example I type in to know what is the setting g_dismemberment the console does not give and information back.

Don't use the console, use the menu settings.
5) How can change the rotation of the lightsaber. It was horizontal spin in the origianl. In this it become vertical spin.
The spin is determined by the saberstyle used and hilt chosen.

I tried your newer version (SerenityJediEngine2019.30) and in this I can choose other characters at the beginning of the game but there isn't custom character choose-able.

Sometimes the characters do not run but they are float on the floor!

The gases or smokes are red colored; first I noticed this on Hoth.
On the level [Emergency Assistance - Bakura (t1_fatal) the player character stands strange way at the beginning of the level. It doesn't lean to the spacecraft... and on this level there are any grenades explosions!
On the level Vjun (vjun1) Kyle kills my character with his saber. Kyle does not turns off his saber and comes too close and kills my character ALL THE TIME. I always have to run away from him but he comes after me, because we should fight together...

Snowing inside the base on Hoth [hoth2].
If I throw a grenade into the face of the enemy npc there aren't any explosions, only the npc flies away for expamle on Cult Investigation - Corellia (t1_rail) and Emergency Assistance - Bakura (t1_fatal) levels.
On the level [Emergency Assistance - Bakura (t1_fatal) the player character stands strange way at the beginning of the level.
On the level Vjun (vjun1) Kyle kills my character with his saber. Kyle does not turns off his saber and comes too close and takes off my shield my character ALL THE TIME. Does not kill me but this npc is bugging me all along the level.
A lot of times does not load the map after I selected the next level and upgrade the players character and give weapons.
The game freezes when the player and the npc throws the lightsabers at the same time.
Almost all of the mentioned problems exist in the SerenityJediEngine2019.35 version too!
Except the game does not freeze when the AI and I throw the saber at the same time.
+ the floating enemies came back. This happens when I die and reload the save game.
A lot of textures (mostly floor) become blurry.
The prequelSaber and the RebelsSaber is the same now.

On Cult Investigation - Dosuun (T2_DPRED) you put guys with lightsaber but the player can not pick the sabers up when killed them.
On Vjun (vjun1) Kyle behaves the same bad way and
the player's character screams from the pain when it stands in the acid rain and does not matter if the Force Protect is turned on or not!
A lot of nice features, but it's terribly buggy and glitched. Animations in cutscenes are not properly synced. The game has a chance of crashing when fighting mandalorians.
I can't finish Corellia because there are so many mandalorians on the map and they keep crashing the game.
