One of two famous RTW global mods dedicated to Medieval high era. This version contains total gameplay revision and new battle map buildings.
Well, I'm going on to share my sub-mods for the projects which totally changed the approach to RTW modding in their time, but remained not full-worked (to my opinion) and not supported by its developers now. I do that to finish my actions with such mods finally, because I'm going to fix myself at two global projects which I'm gonna to release before my RTW modding is over itself. So, I'm already released Chivalry Enhanced (done together with Leon Katakalon) and Europa Barbarorum 172 BC. For now, this is the time for another global mod: Rome Medieval Kingdoms! This mod was being developed by its creators for many years, but still remained quite "raw"... I had a try to solve its numerous problems and, for me, it's much more better now. If you like such rare thing as high Medieval era in Rome 1, but suppose Chivalry TW too minimalistic, this mod is for you.
This mod gameplay is totally different with his far "relative", Chivalry TW. As Chivalry is more like Europa Barbarorum (with high historical accuracy and slow tempo of playing), so RMK is quite closer to Roma Surrectum (vast armies, many battles, rush conquests). Though I like the first way more, I couldn't pass by Rome Medieval Kingdoms because of its rare matter for Rome 1 modding and unique content (Medieval 2 style models and animations). So, I fixed numerous bugs of this mod, change some stuff according to my liking and historical accuracy and add the script that prolong factions' lives. Taste and enjoy it!

I've detected a bug and i made a hotfix.
The mod has a missing unit model:
RomeMedievalKingdoms\Data\models_unit\Janissary_Heavy_Inf.cas
I fixed it this way in the file descr_model_battle.txt
Search for this:
Janissary_Heavy_Inf.cas
And replace it with this:
RM_halberd.cas
Do it in the 4 model_flexi lines.
With this hotfix you can see the unit looks perfect now (the unit affected is Janissaries from the faction Sultanate of Rum). That makes me wonder if RM_halberd.cas is the true model for the texture Janissary_Heavy_Inf.TGA

Bat file doesnt help with opening this mod. Tried with mod launcher - same result. Can anyone help?
