The buildings are completely reworked with a brand new texture and various new buildings were added. I would like to thank Enrique (art dept. lead at WFG) in particular for helping us with it. Two songs were composed by Omri Lahav (the composer of the 0 A.D. soundtrack). These songs function as in-game music. Also we ironed out a couple of historical inaccuracies thanks to Mei Houwang (Chinese Historian).

Sometimes theres multiple farms in one slot, but otherwise an amazing mod. The music is great btw. :)
We've experimented with our rice fields to create terraces, that's what you see ;) but it isn't really coming of :( we're still trying to find a good solution to let the rice fields adapt to the terrain.

I have a Mac, and i put the unzipped folder where you said it was supposed to be, and in the Mod Selection it does not show up

You should check the folder tree. Could you say what directory the file mod.json is in?
May I request that they update this mod to be compatible with 0 A.D. Alpha 18 "Rhododactylos".
We're in the release process, so expect something soon!

And to answer your question: the mod is platform independent (as long as you have the right version of 0 A.D.)
Since 0 A.D. just updated to the latest version last 26th of November, which is Alpha 19 "Syllepsis", can you guys update this mod for this current version.
