Please follow the README file, or below for installation instructions.
Includes various versions for steam or retail/GoG with map arrow options. I think it will require 'Fortunes' DLC to work properly.

Is it possible to create bots that are capable of playing multiplayer modes such as Capture The Diamond? I know there is FCAM for the original game so I am wondering if it can be done for FC2 as well. If so, where would be a good place to start looking? It is something I would be interested in working on in the future.
I have not looked into the multiplayer aspect of this game at all so I wouldnt be able to help you. I think there is a 'mod' which allows you to add bots into maps, but I do not know how they behave. Perhaps that would be a good place to start looking?
StoatOats: you have done this game a wonderful service. Your mod makes so many sensible changes that completely revamp the gameplay. Damned fine job, sir.
Thanks DaciaJC, Your comment has honestly made my day.
Glad you are enjoying it.
Just wanted to say I appreciate your work on this mod a lot, thanks.
It's a shame what we can do with this game is so limited, it really has so much potential.
That being said, your mod does a lot to make the game better, so thanks for all the time you've put into it.
Really nice ! I'll redo the games like that !
I think this mod is great, overall, but whenever I switch weapons, the crosshairs from the previous one gets put on the currently equipped weapon. Also, if you switch from the map, to a weapon, there will be no crosshair at all. Most of the weapons have different crosshairs, so that throws me off.
I haven't noticed that, but that is due to having the crosshairs disabled when I play. I am not sure what is causing that issue.
I don't know if you still read these comments, but I don't like how all weapons are unlocked at the start. I kinda liked ambushing the convoys and there's no point in buying anything but the best weapons now. I would like it if you at least made it optional.
A great mod that doesn't disable everything useful under the guise of "realism"? Sign me the **** up! Love your mod :)

I've found a glitch with a sawn-off. When you have any other shotgun equiped and fully loaded, you'll lose shells when switch to sawn-off. As I presume, that's because sawn-off uses shotgun shell but has lower max ammo capacity. It happens when I use both sawn-off and silenced, though I forgot to test it with other shotguns last time I played.
