Description

The release of Far Cry 5 brought with it a new wave of appreciation of the second installment. So I reinstall the game and realized my preset needed some fixing. I completely removed the brown filter and corrected colors, lights and shadows. I think this is the closest you can get to an ENB effect without actually having ENB. As a counterpart, the nights may look a little brighter than before but you can adjust this in the in-game settings to your preference.

Still using sweetfx? You can get same result with reshade with only colourfulness shader.
[Colourfulness.fx]
colourfulness=0.800000
lim_luma=0.300000

Instructions are on the main page and also in a readme in the mod files. Basically you have to drop all the files in your game intallation folder. If you have no idea how SweetFX works look up in youtube theres plenty of tutorials.

can't get it to work. Put the bin folder in the game directory but now the game won't launch. Which is confusing because I got this to work before but I don't remember how I did it.

try this: pick up your dxgi.dll from your system32 and paste it into your far cry 2 bin folder

Alright. So, I downloaded the Mod. I put the bin in my main directory for FC2, and I'm not sure if you intended for me to replace all of the files with the same name in the "bin" folder of FC2, or if you rather wanted it to be in the directory. Since on your read me instructions, one thing said to paste the bin in the main game directory, which Im not sure if you mean the main file for FC2, or what.

Regardless, I put it in the bin folder, replaced all of the files with the same name, and I put the dx whatever from System32 into the bin, and while the Skybox for the game has significantly improved, all of the vegetation now is blocky, almost like Minecraft.

I'd like for you to clarify, if it's possible.

Thank you.

Getting the error "The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll"
I'm not sure if this is important because this mentions ded11 while I'm running the game in directx 9 mode

I've heard to delete d3d11.dll because that's a sweet FX file made for DX11, which of course Far Cry 2 doesn't have.

Hey everyone. I know I sound stupid, and YES, I read the readme, but I still don't know if I installed it correctly. I have 2 bin folders. One is right next to the Win_32 folder, and the second one is in my steamapps. A little help to get my situation fixed would be an ENORMOUS help to me. My steam is Hombres Al Trabajo, send me a friend request and a DM if you think you can help me. I just want to enjoy this game in it's purest form. So far, i have it installed in the bin folder inside of steamapps, so I think that's the one. I can get the game to launch, it's just that I don't know if the install actually worked or not. It's possible that I did nothing, or that it's correctly installed and I couldn't see a difference because it's night-time. Thanks for you help or time. My reddit username is the same as on ModDB. Thanks!
