Razorwing's Book version 1.0.
"Razorwing's Book" is a modder's resource of little interest to players.
It adds a new book model to the game. The book looks like it has been waterdamaged, since the pages have curled up a bit, causing the frontside of the binder to elevate. It would be perfect as a quest book in a ship cabin, but I don't think it would look out of place in any quest-type location (dungeons etc). But it probably wouldn't look perfect in a rich person's home.
The binder isn't ideal for retexturing, which is why I included the general texture in the archive. If anyone is interested in creating a proper book texture for the model please let me know and I'd be more than happy to adjust the texture mapping and release a new version (naturally sharing credit with you). The front- and back texture needs to be 512 pixels high and 256 pixels wide, while the binder texture needs to be 512 pixels high and 64 pixels wide. A border texture is needed as well, looking similar to the hard edge of a book binder; 16 pixels tall and 512 pixels wide would be good, since it's a very thin border. It needs to tile horisontally but not vertically.
How to install
Since it's intended as a modder's resource you probably don't want to install it as such, but rather check out the assets and add them to your own folders. I haven't included an esp, but I did set up the assets so they can be copied in a decent fasion over to your Oblivion/Data folder if you don't use folders specific to your mod.
You're welcome to use the book in your Elder Scrolls mod. All I ask is that you credit me ( Razorwing ) for the partial model work in your readme. I would appreciate a link to Link as well, but only if you feel like it :)
Mesh by: Razorwing (partially)

I want to make it clear that I was not the original creator of the model. I worked on the mesh a bit, set up the mapping, and physiqued it. It's origins are unknown to me, but I know as much as that it was a freeware .3ds model I found on the internet many years ago and brought into Silgrad Tower's TES3 mod. The origin of the paper texture is likewise unknown to me.
The fastest way to contact me is to send me a PM on Silgrad Tower Forum. I'm there for half a day every day.
You can also email me at "email@example.com". Be specific in the message header as I get a lot of spam mails. I can also be contacted on ESF, where my username is Gloomwing.
