For those of you who are wondering when this ends, don't worry--it's just beginning. Unless you think it's perfect, which it is far from!
Hell Potions have been upscaled to hi-res just like Health Potions. You start with the BF90 from PO'ed instead of the Pistol, which you can still get off of dead Zombiemen. More 2K textures are in there and there's now motion blur.
Rabid's Crap 16 is just a touch different from 15, but in all the right ways. The first thing I did was use GIMP to take the hi-res sprites of the Health Potions and turn them red, so that we have hi-res Hell Potions. Kaiser's old stuff deserves this treatment and more, believe me.
My next order of business was to add another new Thing through a backdoor. See, if Zombiemen drop Pistols, you can get that weapon from them and start with something else, right? So I poked through Nailz the Ravager's PO'ed total conversion and made the BFD90 the starting weapon. It's kinda like a plasma pistol. Accordingly, you now start the game with 50 cells instead of 50 bullets--there are plenty of Zombiemen and Assault Rifle guys to get bullets from. But ammo's tight for a while.
I put in 10 more 2K textures from Hoover 1979's pack.
Motion blur has been added too, and it really does add some realism. It was made by these guys: Nash Muhandes, Caligari87 and Tormentor667.
Thank you to those who have been keeping up with this. Your support has been mostly silent, but it's nice to see all those downloads! Anybody who wants to can make a wad for this mod, make videos to help people find out about it, etc.
