Could you describe how exactly to install the plugins? I get that I have to use the BCMI, but do I do all of them or one of them?

No; the plugins aren't for installation. They're for selecting what type of gameplay you want before starting the game.

If your BC shortcut is on your desktop, then put the plug-ins folder on your desktop; or anywhere else you want it; it doesn't matter. You just want to have access to it. Use the plug-ins to select what type of game-play you want before starting the game and there you go. Just remember; the "Game Modes" plug-ins have hierarchy over the "Crew" and "Era" ones; so select your game mode first and then your crew and/or era if desired. However, that doesn't mean you have to select a game mode. For example: if you wish to play as Klingons during the time of the show "Enterprise", you could select the "Enterprise" game mode first and then the "Klingon" crew plug-in. But, you could also accomplish the same thing by selecting the "Klingon" crew plug-in and the "22ed Halfway" era plug-in in any order. Both of these methods will accomplish the same thing.

Starting "Mission 1" in the default-game mode and approaching the wormhole nav-point.
However, it is impossible to use it; Clicking on "Entering Wormhole" and nothing happens, even directly at the nav point...

It happens sometimes. Reposition yourself and try again. It will work.

I am getting a 'none' object has no attribute '(name)' error in the python debug screen whenever I load an era other than the default. The game will not load. Typing resume just brings up more of this error in endless other .py files.

EDIT: I redownloaded the mod from a different site and tried again, and now the gamemodes work on their own, but, whenever I load an era, ANY era, I get this: "ValueError: Empty module name" and the game crashes on load. Uninstalling the BCMods does not work, the effect is permanent until the entire game and mod are reinstalled. I just cannot get this mod to to work. If a solution isn't created I may have to revert back to the unstable but at least functional Kobayashi Maru mod.

Ok I tried the following:
1 - Game install (english) (intentionally used a short folder F:\STBC)
2 - Patch install (english)
2.1 - Game Start to generate config.cfg
2.2 - Game Close
3 - BCMI Setup
4 - Copy of the folders "Data", "Editors", "Scripts" and "sfx" into game directory and overwriting everything existing
5 - Copy of Plugins folder on my desktop
6 - Run Game (Works in Embark and Mission Mode)
7 - Game Close
8 - Doubleclick on selected Plugin i.e. 07 - Voyager
8.1 - BCMI comes up and asked me "File selectcrew.py already exists!!! Would you like to overwrite???"
8.2 - Yes overwrite all files
9 - Start game and start mission. Everything works

Solution: Windows is not able to read files which are in too many ant too long folders. By copying in my old folder (F:\games\activision\Star Trek...\) I become a Windows error message, the filename is to long. But SelectEra.py couldn´t be to long. I remember, one of my Professors in my education said, If there are to many folders, windows could not longer read the files in the last folder. I think thats the solution.

I hope you´ll be successful and I hope my solution works for you, too. My game runs greatly now.

Edit: its necessary to let the game in Fullscreen Mode and the resolution shouldn´t be higher than 1280x1024. Otherwise the game crashes.

Curiously, I'm getting a message that says "Runtime Error, c:\users\me\desktop\Quincentennial Mod\stbc.exe Abnormal Program Termination" What I did is I installed the plugins completely separately from the device and I copied and pasted the stuff minus the options CFG file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Bridge Commander. What am I doing wrong?

Nevermind. I found out how to download it. You have to first install the stuff that says "Put this into the game directory" into the file location of the shortcut, and you just put the pluggins wherever.

It's not a daft question and I really wish you could. Unfortunately, saving's not possible. If someone knows how to make it so, please let me know.

Hi, I hear you're the author. I have a question.

Has there been a lot of people talking about CTDs about this mod?

I love the mod. I love the fact that it's more about exploration and not so much combat. But after about ten minutes or so, the game CTD.

Is there a few words of advice you can offer to help me keep exploring?

The funny thing is, it ran fine on my old computer; it crashes all the time now. If someone is able to identify what new protocols might be incompatible with the game, I'd be glad to address the issue.
As for advise, I'd say to just keep the ship count as low as possible.
Did you find the ancient ship hidden in the Sol asteroid field? Have you destroyed VGER? Have you checked out the experiments ships you can build at the Martian Ship Yards? Have you checked out the various stages of development as anarchists over various time periods? Have you made your way to the alpha quadrant with Voyager looking for shortcuts along the way?
