It has come to my attention this beta does not play nice with all hardware specs.
I will thus recommend my game test system specs:
amd 3000+ cpu
4G mem
gtx 560 1G vid mem
Or equivalent hardware. This _should_ be a decent average target spec.
Laptops and low end systems (especially the video card) may suffer from ultra low frames per second.
ive got a doubt. How exactly do i install the mod or how do i attache it to the quake game file for it to be played?
So, to answer guest...
download and unzip qh1.5.zip in the directory containing quake files
qh (linux bash script) and qh.bat (windows bat file) can be used to run the mod on each platform
for the manual option, open quake_hack.txt or one of the 2 script files
(linux and win have different launch commands)
a full quake 1 install is required, but note:
it may be possible to run this via open-quartz depending on how complete that is - if you do this things will most likely be a bit strange
