Enlarges the interior of the buyable house in Cheydinhal.
This one is the most personal of the mods I've made, since it actually
came about when I dreamed of it. As soon as I dreamt of this beautiful
four-bedroomed house I was looking around with the intention of buying,
I woke up and knew I had to make it in the CS.
Because it is made with only me and my character in mind, it doesn't have the broad touches that you might be looking for, such as a combat practice area, though there are weapons racks (to simulate a coat-stand/shoe rack) and an alchemy area with 'static alchemy' scripts (in place of the alcove in every kitchen where electrical gadgets gather dust. There is an appliance of sorts on top of the cupboard. There is in most houses. Nobody knows what it does, but it usually has something to do with sandwiches.
Requires COBL
Because it is a 'modern house sim', there are some things that you might find anachronistic. I make no apology for this. As a mild concession, the most overtly modern appliances are combined to a small attic study you may ignore if you wish. This is the dream hobby room/music studio that we would
spend most of our hours in the dream house. For him, a state-of-the-art laptop and keyboard for him to fulfil his musical ambitions; for me, another laptop from which I could lazily check my PMs from the comfort of the armchair.
To take you on a tour of the rest of the house, there is:
- Scripted day/night lighting
- Scripted extension to normal furnishing procedure, for savegame compatibility
- COBL compatible, with COBL items
- Living area: animated fish tank, sofa and chairs
- Basement area: unique basement-level garden leading to outside, fully-equipped kitchen with alchemy sorting and equipment, scripted laundry device and COBL-setup for future compatibility with hunger/thirst sims
- Large swimming pool
- Mezzanine floor with bathroom (scripted toilet, bath, and COBL-basin)
- Dining room: fireside sofa, formal dining table, minibar
- Two bedrooms for companions/guests
- Mezzanine balcony overlooking Cheydinhal
- Upper level: display area and storage
- Large bedroom suitable for main companion
- Master bedroom with en-suite shower (scripted), doll's house, and balcony to new cell
- Attic room for hobbies with scripted laptops, Tv and armchairs
- Front and rear gardens with rear trap-door entrance to basement
Likely to conflict with any mod that alters the buyable house in Cheydinhal
Known issues: there is a flickering in the wooden boarding mesh used on the mezzanine floor outside the dining room; this is part of the mesh itself and not a placement error
Nice house; I'd live in it.
Doesn't work for me... After I install the mod, the game won't start any more.. Does this work with Shivering Isles??
