This is the final version of Portal Unity Reboot (v0.9)
This is probably the final version of the reboot that will be released.
It may still have some bugs here and there but (hopefully) nothing game breaking.
To install the mod, simply extract the 7z into your sourcemods folder and restart steam!
(should be wherever your steam is installed: Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/)
If you have any problems, let me know!
Nice mod! I was just searching moddb and found this mod. It feels like there are just community chambers but its much more. Feels like portal 1 to me. Im happy to have anoter portal mod in my libraray!

The mod is a remake of a portal 1 mod from back in the day, so I'm glad to hear that I managed to maintain that classic portal 1 feel :P

Howcome Persephone, and Hades' voice lines are absent?

I believe its due to the fact the voicelines don't work too well in the reboot, since she will still mention stuff like energy pellets when its changed to lasers. and other major changes like that. however they should be somewhere in the game's files if you wanted them to play.
it would be really cool if they got the original voice actors for both of those characters to re-record some lines to better fit the Portal 2 remake of the mod

Long.
I never lost hope that one day it would be released. And although it is incomplete, i still love seeing it being released. My opinion and what i liked about Portal 1 and 2 changed over the years, some mods i started not liking it as much when i came back to it, but there's something about Portal Unity that just makes me fall in love with the style.
It's clear to see that you started development on this when you weren't that experienced with mapmaking as you are today, you could clearly see that through your developer comentary, fixing some things mid video. Just the fact that even with this problem you went back to it, release even though it's incomplete just because of the 10 years aniversary really shows something, shows that you care about your projects. Most of mod developers for Portal show us some teaser, just dissappear and say "yeahh **** that, project cancelled baby" and some of them don't even come back to say "sorry boys i don't want to do this anymore". I admire what you do, and i hope to see more from you in the future.

Yea, I totally agree, it's always sad when projects just disappear after so much development goes into them.
(I've always said to myself, even if I don't always achieve exactly what I wanted to with a project, I'm always proud when I can release 'something'. If it brings joy to anyone, then the project was a success in my mind)

That being said, people are welcome now to take up the mantle if they want to.
One developer has already started their own "Portal Unity 2" project, which I think is really cool :)

Always brilliant to see the revival of such a classic Portal sourcemod, mods like Portal Unity and The Projex that had their own art styles and any other Portal mods which weren't just more puzzles are always brilliant.
Just found this mod and I'm having a great time playing. I'm only a few maps in and I'm sure it's going to get more difficult. Always loved Portal 1 and 2, I still play them LOL.
