DESCRIPTION
------------------------------
* What is PiraMod?
PiraMod is a simple all-in-one compilation of freely available WoW UI mods. It comes with a simple 'click-through' installer that gives you a chance to select a few optional mods as-well. The installer makes backups of your current configuration, so rolling back is easy. And it can save you from catastrophe! Just having the backups around at-all is a boon.
* Who wrote PiraMod?
Lots and lots of different mods are in PiraMod. Many different authors. Those folks deserve 99.999% of the credit. All Piranther (me) did, was bundle them all together and add some special touches of my own. The source code that is used to compile the PiraMod installer is freely available in the downloads section of PiraMod.com. This is also known as 'Open Source.' The PiraMod installer is licensed under the LGPL. The mods that come with PiraMod are either public domain or are also licensed under a GPL variant. See 'About the PiraMod Installer and Licensing' section on this web page.
* Why should I use PiraMod?
Try it out if you have the inclination. I use it every day. I hear a lot of positive feedback. It may not be the solution for you, but it's certainly worth a shot.
* How do I know which version of PiraMod I am running?
Type '/piramod' (without the quotes) to show version #.
* How do I get help?

ABOUT BACKUPS
------------------------------
* Compressed backups are made each time PiraMod is installed or updated. Each backup's filename contains the date and time the backup was created.
* The backups are in zip format.
* The backups are stored in the 'World of WarCraftPiraModBackups' folder. Which can also be accessed from the PiraMod start-menu item 'My Backups'
* Always exit WoW before restoring backups.
* Your configuration and setting are stored in the 'World of WarcraftWTF' folder. To roll back your settings and config, simply delete the folder 'World of WarcraftWTF' and replace it with a backup version.
* Your UI-Mods are stored in the 'World of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns' folder. To roll back your settings and config, simply delete the folder 'World of WarcraftInterfaceAddons' and replace it with a backup version.
* Installing PiraMod will remove all your current Mods. To reclaim them, simply look inside the backup.
* Don't forget to occasionally clean out the PiraMod backups directory. It will accumulate over time since no backups are ever deleted automatically. You can find the backups through the PiraMod icon on your desktop. PiraMod-->My Backups
