INSTALLATION:
Prerequisites:
A clean C&C Generals Zero Hour installation Patched to 1.4
What does clean mean? - No other mods. To be sure your ZH folder folder
should not have an "Art" subfolder and in "Data" there should be no "INI" folder.
And no file with the ending ".big" that does not belong to default C&C:Generals ZH may be there.
If you want to keep your Zero Hour folder clean, you can make a copy and install the mod
there. You can have multiple ZH's with different mods, I do this with all mods.
Copy Files:
(!HINT: Rename ../Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour/Install_Final.bmp to "Install_Final.bmp.ZH" before copying, this allows to keep
the original Splash Screen when the mod is deactivated.)
Copy all files from the archive into your Zero Hour folder (default or copied one).
It should look like this:
../Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour/!OFS_INI.big
../Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour/!OFS_ART.big
(and all other bigs)
It's the correct folder when default .bigs and generals.exe are there.
Remove 1 of "!OFS_Window43.big" or "!OFS_WindowWide.big" depending if you have widescreen or not.
Optional, but Recommended:
Install (http://www.gentool.net/download/controlbar/) for better resolution of default buttons.
LANGUAGE:
Copy either "!OFS_English.big" or "!OFS_German.big" into your folder, those are seperate downloads because of filesize.
Activating:
OFS_Activate_mod.bat -activates the mod, needs to be run once after installing so the script folder gets renamed
OFS_Deactivate_mod.bat -renames OFS files and reverts to a default Zero Hour game
Even if you copied to a new ZH folder you need to run the activation bat once (or manually rename the "Data/Scripts" folder)
LAUNCHING:
Run 1 of the START bats. They will start in 1280x1024 or 1920x1080. If you have another resolution copy one of the bats and
edit it.
Change the -xres and -yres arguments to your resolution, you can also add
-win (starts the game windowed)
-quickstart
-noshellmap
You can also just create a shortcut to generals.exe and put the commandline arguments there.

For higher res default buttons. Not required, but recommended.
I like the ideas you've put in, and like some of the game play. However, there are still a lot of bugs to work out. A)Solo Play goes to fatal error, B)General Play goes to Fatal Error (also, a few generals are "invisible" when you select, and C) when you are in the solo play to choose maps, where are the choices for just USA, GLA, and China? What about the other bosses? You still have a bit of work ahead. Concept though, I do like. I look forward to playing this when the fixes are applied :)
I'm afraid Campaign and Challenge mode are not supported yet.
There are no vanilla factions (USA, GLA, China) in this mod.
Also in this release there are 7 playable Generals.
Actually all of this is mentioned in the news :)

i have a error,when trying to activate mod - "is not valid Win32 application".
When did this problem occur? When starting the .bat or the game .exe ?
Also,when i unzipped your file,folder have 0 bytes size

this mod is wonderful i give u a 10....but u have to work a little bit at AI for examble a hard AI its like a week medium in ZH must be more agressive and must use all weaponery and we wait for the next general from china and gla......good work man thankx a loot for what u have done for us the.....ZH maniacs :)
Make sure your Data/Scripts folder is renamed before you start the game for the AI to work. The .bat should do it, but might fail because of lacking permission.

I get a serious error when trying to start the mod
Despite activating all the relevant things.
Guys help i got an error saying install directix 8.1 or higher and chec your video card.. I got direct x 11 i think with radeon r7 1gb... So how do i fix the error?
I try to Activate the mods, then it said,"this apps can't run on your pc"
n it said, "to find a version for your pc,check with the software publisher"
Is that mean i have to find the version for Windows 8?? Did you have any??
