This mod by Strikor corrects the night vision upgrade error found when you try to upgrade certain armor suits' night vision and it doesn't work.
Nightvision Upgrade Fix 1.1 by Strikor
All outfits in Clear Sky can either add night vision or upgrade existing goggles. Unfortunately, GSC gave some of these outfits the wrong upgrade values. For example, the Berill-5M armored suit comes with low-quality (green) night vision. "Upgrading" it at a mechanic would give you the same quality. This mod corrects this issue by giving these suits high-quality (blue) night vision when upgraded. Basic suits like the Leather Jacket and CS-3a are left unchanged as these outfits were never intended to receive that upgrade. 100% savegame compatible.
To install, simply extract the gamedata folder to your Clear Sky directory. If you haven't already, open up fsgame.ltx in the same directory with Notepad and make sure
$game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata
is set to
$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata
Deleting the files will uninstall the mod. Even a save wearing an upgraded exoskeleton will be fine.
Changelog for v1.1:
Mechanics - All fixed suits should now have the correct text stating they get the second-generation upgrade.
Exoskeleton - The exoskeleton has been slightly reworked. Previously there were two levels of NV upgrades. The first NV upgrade, which was low-quality and therefore useless, has been changed to high-quality NV. I was unable to remove the second NV upgrade slot completely so it has been changed to grant +5 to maximum carry weight (yes it stacks with the other one.) Prices have been adjusted accordingly.
Other - Some users reportedly had problems with SEVA and a few other suits while others did not. This version should force the right data for everyone.
