My Last Carnivores Update file

My departure from the Carnivores community was sudden, and no doubt surrounded by rumors and misinformation, so I would like to set a few things straight first of all.

Prior to leaving, I did have a few disagreements with some members within the community; disagreements which, much to my shame, only led to conflict and hatred. The fandom that was once united by its shared love of the game became fractured over creative differences. But while that was one of the reasons I chose to leave the Carnivores fandom, it wasn't the only nor even the most important reason.

The past year has been difficult for many of us, for a litany of reasons, and I was no exception. I've had a lot of time to think, not just about my modding career but about my life in general, where I've been and what direction I'm going, and have arrived at the inescapable conclusion that many things about it need to be changed. That's why my main focus in life right now is to do just that; change. Change everything I was dissatisfied about, from looking for a better job to working on my own personality flaws and getting rid of harmful habits. Above all, being open about my true identity for the first time in my life, I am now almost a year into transitioning. Among all these changes, I knew it was time to move on from the Carnivores fandom as well. It was not an easy decision to make, but I do believe it's for the best.

Still, I would like it to be known that I have moved on as a friend, not an enemy. I wish to offer an olive branch to the fandom that's been a second home to me for over a decade, including to those within it with whom I've had my (in hindsight, petty) disagreements and conflicts. That's why I would like to give you all one last gift: the final official Beta releases to my three Carnivores mods, including all DLC content made for it thus far by myself and others, some new map updates, and all of my unfinished creature models. I will not post any more updates to these mods, so the rest is now up to the community. If any of you wish to try and pick up development from where I've left, use my unfinished models in any of your mods, or just play the mods and enjoy them- by all means, do so. Do as you wish! It's all yours now.

I have left a few notes where applicable, but will no longer answer any questions regarding Carnivores mods. By the time this file is published I'd have deleted everything Carnivores-related from my computer, and laid this chapter of my life to rest.
