I've also edited the faction lightning textures to be a lighter grey, so similar in appearance to the default lightning just with the faction colors.
Props
A whole collection of small props under the categories of;
- Barracks
- Computers
- Covergroups
- Storage
Sounds
- Both the NC and TR should all now have weapon sounds for their guns. These, like the Vanu sounds, were all recorded in-game so that quality and volume may waver every now and then. Though I've tried to keep them for being deafeningly loud whilst remaining clear.
- The lightning tanks cannon now has its firing sound from the game, specifically the L100 Python cannon.
- The Vanu Magrider has its own movement sounds as well, given the fact that it hovers I didn't think that base game tread sounds worked too well.
Effects
- Each factions weapons now have their own bullet traces (along with custom ammunition) TR = Red NC = Yellow VS = Purple
- Most of the Vanu weapons also now have purple muzzle flashes, I'm fairly certain that this shouldn't cause any problems when used in conjunction with other mods but if anything happens, please tell me.
Maps
- There are now three maps included with the mod. Two community maps created by unkownss and one created by me.
I'm pretty sure that's everything added in this latest version, unless I've forgotten anything. I hope you guys will enjoy everything I've managed to get done so far and as always, please inform me of any bugs you to run into.

I don't see any purple muzzleflash from those VS weapons.I combined it with Mass Effect mod and somehow the ai is pretty messed up too considering Cerberus and Reapers breed aren't shooting.
Have you tried running the mod without the Mass effect mod turned on? That may fix the muzzle flash. Also, are there any other problems whilst the other mod is active, or is it just no muzzleflashes for the VS?
Nevermind the muzzleflash.I just fix it by editing the human.inc a little bit but the ai is still a trouble.

Okay call me stupid or whatever, but what are the maps called? I've searched like 10 minutes through the ingame maps and didn't find anything even closely similiar to a PS2 map.
And yes, the mod is active ;)
The maps are only available in the GEM editor atm, under the folder "planetside". It's my fault though, I didn't specify that they were editor only.
You gotta make the map. I have made 1 so far and continue to work on it.
THis is awesome, PS2 was my favorite shooter, Men of War is my fav RTS. Combining them is amazing.
I have taken your PS2 mod, converted it for use in Men of War 1, since I dont have MoWAS2, and am in the process of building a campaign in the GEM editor with it. Ive got 1 mission completed and am working on tweaking the difficulty a little.
Also, your Vanguard tank needs help, the turret is like sticking up way to high above the hull, the rest of the tanks look good. Keep up this mod, its awesome.
Thanks for the positive comment and your campaign sounds cool, though I can't guarantee support for an older MoW game so any problems that show up may be due to the incompatibility between games.
And when you talk about the turret, there doesn't seem to be any problem with it in MoWAS2 that I can see. Could you send or link me a picture that shows your problem? As I would like to know if it is the same in both games before looking into it.
Ok, imma try to get the images, but linking them from photobucket isnt working. The problem is the Turret basket and entire turret is hovering above the hull, not even in contact with it.
That definitely isn't supposed to happen, it isn't like that in MoWAS2 but I don't see why it would change just from editing a few files to make it compatible with an older game.
I didnt edit any of the files for the tank, I just copy pasted and edited armor and inventory lines in the .DEF. Also, the reason it does it from what I can gather, is the files and I guess the way the game reads said numbers, are not the same across all the games. I think it probably has something to do with the way the game does the graphics in MoWAS2, since they obviously did something to vastly improve them.
That's possibly the problem. Still seems really weird, I'd still find it useful if I could see some pictures of it just to make sure it's actually wildly different from MoWAS2.

what game version is needed for this mod ive tried the current version and the downgrade and neither have worked
MoW got updated recently up to version 3.251.0. So the only way to make the mod work is either wait for the next mod version, or go into your mods folder and change the mod.info file maxgameversion to your current game version.
I literally went into the mod.info file and just removed the lines of text pertaining to game version lol. Doesnt matter now =P
