This addon allows players to experience Jedi Outcast's campaign in Movie Duels!
NOTE: REQUIRES JEDI OUTCAST INSTALLATION TO USE!
As stated in the summary, you need a Jedi Outcast installation to play, legal installation recommended. An installation tutorial is included, though in the near-future this description will be updated to include a more detailed version.
Changelog - August 21st:
- Fixed player having the Bryar Pistol early after the first bartender cutscene.
Changelog:
- Updated Title Crawl text to use the Franklin-Gothic font, supports other language variants.
- Restored Outcast's original Force Power progression. None of JKA's or MD's added force powers are present except for Sense.
Changes made to base force power progression:
Grip 2 is now acquired in Cairn Bay instead of Assembly (because of Kyle levitating and choking Tavion in Bespin Platform's end cutscene).
Saber Throw 3 is acquired in Yavin Swamp instead of Courtyard, because getting max-level saber throw in the second to last level didn't allow enough time for the player to properly enjoy it.
- Restored JK2 soundsets for Stormtroopers, Imperial Officers, and TIE Pilots.
- Updated most map objects so their lighting looks nicer.
- Fixed multiple issues in cutscenes where characters weren't holding objects, or were doing erratic movements.
- Fixed Kyle looking in the wrong direction in most cutscenes, due to glitched model tags.
NS Streets:
- Fixed Kyle handing over a blaster pistol instead of his bryar pistol to the cantina bouncers. Also corrects pistol item on the second floor.
- The Bartender and Kyle will now hold their respective items instead of invisible objects.
hi ive got a lot of texture problems with oucast story when i load up the first level i get a lot of missing textures its got a lot of white boxes.if you could help.thx
Movie Duels Team: I am a fellow jkhub.org coder who tinkered with the open source code ever since its release. I tried for years to get a workable Jedi Academy Enhanced with Jedi Outcast support. Your project...completely outdid and succeeded at everything I was trying to accomplish. Outstanding job; this now replaces my personal goto mod entirely. Now, that said, I noticed that weapon explosions (such as the merr-son, stouker, etc.) do not show up or play any noise when fired. The splash damage is still there, but everything else is invisible/mute. Is this on the list of bugs to fix for the next release? Also, consider Serenity Engine's 1st person aiming and Jedi Knight Enhanced's extyra force powers; both are open source and it would be awesome if you could add them. Thanks!
Hello, thank you for your support! Yeah we are aware of this bug and it is already fixed in our private build. We are going to release some sort of hotfix soon. Jace already added 1st person, accesible in camera menu. Extra force powers like stasis, destruction or repulse are already there too :)

I hope u add lightsaber on belt alsow! And in jedi outcast i fond some bugs. some prisoner moderls have no textures. Alsow how i can use forcepower (like lightning) from MD in jedi outcast and jedi academy? as for now it use vannilla effects(. TY!

Addon for Jedi Academy but requires JKO files.
So I have followed the instructions in the zip file but I do not see how I can play jedi academy?
This is awesome BTW. You guys are my heroes. Are you guys still adding more content, or are you about done? Would love some original trilogy missions. Thanks again, this is one of the best mods I have played. The amount of details is mind boggling.

The game is consistently crashing very near the beginning of the Outlast campaign after fighting the first two storm troopers, this was done on a fresh install and so far seems to be the only place MD has any issues

I just got a consistent crash on Artus Topside. When I get on the first emplaced turret to help the miners against the AT-ST the game crashes after a few seconds. Still happens even if I do Level Select.
Had the same crash. First time I crashed was just after I disabled the prison lockdown. Then it happened again 3 times on Artus Topside as I was shooting in the first turret. I also had a crash playing through the ToTG Season 1 fights. Interestingly when I was playing update 5 I had no crashes at all. The only issue I ever had was the save bug where loading a save after death made your movement super slow. So far that seems to be fixed in this update. Hopefully they are working on a patch.

Hey, I commented on YouTube and got a response saying there is an update coming for outcast to fix crashing and I was just wondering if there was a possible release date. Thanks for any help and the mod is great!

Hey all, just an FYI: I'm seeing a very odd issue. Between Nar Shaddaa Streets and Hideout, when I start I hideout level, I've lost all my loadout and my lightsaber, and I have Han Solo's blaster in my inventory only. Still have all my force powers though. Anyone else see this?
NEVERMIND! I tried the level transition again with the saber equipped and it didn't reoccur. Loadout is normal. Weird.
