This is part 2 of 2 of the new Installer files for MOS 1.7.
This installer includes all the files necessary to install MOS 1.7.
Installing the 'All inclusive Patch' is not needed anymore!
New Installer made for MOS 1.7
This is one of Gigantus' 'click through' installations, it comes in two parts due to the file size restriction of the installer application. The parts are named 'MOS for TATW part 1 of 2' and 'MOS for TATW part 2 of 2'
Installing is very simple:
- Run one installer at a time, start with 'part 1 of 2'
- As long as your registry is fine the installer will find the correct installation path. If not, simply follow the instruction displayed in the installer.
- Some files of the TATW 3.2 installation are read-only for unknown reasons and will cause a warning to be displayed, simply click 'Yes' and proceed.
- At the end of each installation a file verification will take place, allow it to finish, check for error messages (see picture in spoiler), close it and finalise the installation.
- Steam users: no need to do anything extra - simply start the mod with it's desktop shortcut once you have run both installers.
Start MOS 1.7 with the 'tatw start.bat' file. If you want to, you can change the name to something else, e.g. 'MOS.bat'
If the mod does not start as expected, try this (Click the file(s) while pressing CTRL):
Submod fix - download attachment
Some submods may provide their own BAT file and use the old CFG file - that will start the original campaign instead of TATW. Simply extract (7Zip is freeware) the attachment into the mods\third_age_3 directory.
For those familiar with the 'tatw.cfg' file, I recommend looking at the settings and edit them to your liking. But only if you know what you are doing of course.
I updated my tutorial video for the new version. Enjoy.
