This is mod of Mech Commander 2 campaign made by Mechcommander 2 dev team.
Campaign mission brain files are changed to be compatible with Mech Commander Omnitech (most of them automatically).
Campaign is much harder then the original.
All resource points are reduced by the factor of 10 (/10).
Number of available pilots is limited in order to limit salvage.
New "Components Salvage" replaced technology levels and additional
purchase files.
Many of the old mech (and vehicle) models in missions changed to
similar new models (per tonnage) for variety.
New terrain look.

I am not able to download this file..
When hitting "Click to begin downloading Carver5MForMCOsetup.exe from Gamefront. " it return error "502 Bad Gateway" from Gamefront
Right before the second "kill convoy" mission ourchase mech screen becomes unavailable, weapon purchase doesn`t update(stays the same as you left it for the previous mission, is it supposed to happen? Also where did the salvage screen go? why cant i salvage those mechs that are still operational on the groud? And why can i only purchase 1 of any weapon available, it`s not like house steiner is running low on armor, or machine guns... the same is in the "original" campain. I like "difficulty", but this is simply rediculus...
i know this comment is 3 years old but i will answer it anyways, 1. the purchase mech screen isnt there because you are in enemy territory, so where should you buy mechs?
2. new weapons just through salvage -> Hardcore
3. no salvage screen -> 1.
4. one of your mechs needs to stand near the mech you want to salvage
5. if you want more, go to options and click on "unlimited purchase"

Is this compatible with version 424 ? Or will it need to be updated ?
i had no issues besides a random crash here adn there until i got to 12 then i would get an error
Why the **** you eliminated Claymore and Rooster as hired pilots???

dosent work with 484, crash befor second mission
I am having a problem with Mission 12, I have killed every enemy on the map but it will not give me credit for destroying the convoy elements A and B. There were some units stock on the edge of the map where the convoys enter so i am wondering if there are some that got stuck off the map.
right at the entrance point of the convoys, you need to fire with the artillery. The AOE damage will destroy the remaining trucks

Please someone help with Dakkofthunderbluff's question. I have redone this mission 3 times all to the same results as his. :(
Having trouble with the bandit leader not spawning, mission 9. Checked up on the hill, just isn't there.

I have the same issue. Boss and his cronies don't spawn at all. Now I'm stuck.
Check upper right corner. thats where the "reinforcement" comes in at

There's some vehicles that don't come onto the map properly. Once you've killed everything mobile, head to the top, top-left corner and the last enemies will ping in the white zone. You can take em out and it finishes.
Not only am I wishing I could revert the resource point change, but when I go back to 'before mission 2' or 3, or any mission, there are no longer mechs available in the shop, so I cant even sell the crappy starter mechs for something else. Im playing on elite, by mission three I am nowhere near enough cbills to purchase mechs, I capture every resource point on the map, but it isnt enough, and now im fighting like 10+ enemy mechs including a medium, with 3 light mechs with green pilots. This isnt hardcore mode, it's just imbalanced.
