Notes regarding this release: 1. The AI has been optimized to a certain extent but it is not 100% perfect 2. Some countries don't have unit images, these will be added in a future version as well as models for major countries. 3. Unit balancing is not 100% perfect and will be improved upon in future versions 4. If you would like to submit your country's OOB's please contact me here or on the forums. 5. No events or decisions are available past the year 2010, this is also something to be worked upon in a future version. 6. No, there is no annexation of Crimea or ISIS in the mod yet. 7. Tech tree and units are not finished and will be expanded in future updates.

Steam is the easiest place to get hearts of iron and all its expansion packs.
You need "Their Finest Hour" to play this mod.

So I noticed that some of the strings in the /localisation/ folder referencing the Soviet Union were left in again this patch. Tell me, do you plan on adding the option to reform the Soviet Union in a future patch? Or as a general question (if memory serves me correctly), is it not possible to "form" countries in HoI III at all? That is, adding decisions that would change your country's tag to that of another, usually non-existent nation, like in other Paradox games.

Indeed, it is not possible to "tag-switch" in HOI3 as this is an option that was removed (god knows why).
I am looking at ways to implement this but its possible such a thing will have to be left out.

Sorry another question: the blue, square "?" box is overlapping with unit names and the unit leader selection box whenever I click on a unit, how do I fix this?

That would require a fix of that section of the interface... its on our to do list.

All province borders are strange and deformed in shape; I've searched for a fix but have only come up with threads on the PDX forums that don't have a solution posted, at least not that I'm aware of.

Yes, please do not use the mod with other mods. You have some other mod active on the game you installed MWM on and that is the cause.
Strange; I only have this mod and BlackICE actually installed on my system, I suppose I'll attempt a clean reinstall.
Well, I just did a complete reinstall and the problem is still there - I haven't changed any settings and let everything rebuild itself (cache, paths, flagfiles, etc.). Is there anything else I can try? For reference, my paths for installation are C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron 3\tfh\mod\ and C:\Users\User\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron III\MWM\

You just need some way to un-zip the download, then theres a installer for it.
I'm enjoying it!It's great that you fixed the ic amount(For example Hungary had 11 usable ic in beta 6.and now it has 33!awesome!
The only problem is that it lags in a bit on every speed after like every 6-7 hours
I am afraid we can fix the lag only to an extent, the amount of provinces, countries and armies is just too much for the game to handle so eventually it will lag no matter what we do...
Iran have no army, why? I thought it would be great campaign to play, and whoops, no army, and I could barely build just like one division per half year...
Iran was not the focus of this version, expect Iran to be much more developed in the next update.
What in detail are OOBs and how can I "make" one for the mod?
OOBs are Order Of Battles which are the files for the different nations armies. To make one you first have to have a look at the existing ones to see how they are structured. Then you can use templates from existing ones to create new ones.

Dont think we'll be adding more countries... (We pretty much got them all i believe :P)
The Vatican City in particular will not be included, it's too small and personally i wouldn't classify it as a country...
