Whilst it may be a bit "trigger happy", AVG claims this is filled with viruses

Heh, trying to flood other people's computers with viruses. Eh? Think it is a joke? My McAfee Anti-virus found the virus and terminated it and I'm glad it saved my brand new PC from being turned into a microwave (a little humour there) but I swear, If I knew who you were and where you lived I would report you to the police. You can get arrested for uploading viruses you *******.

Unzipped game: no viruses detected.
Started game and played game no viruses detected.

You guys jumped to conclusions. It's your anti-virus programs acting up.

I downloaded the file from Desura months ago re-downloaded recently. I've scanned both times no virus or anything else detected by either Mcafee or Spybot. More importantly my computer has had zero problems. I think the anti-virus are like ksblah said playing up, or the Moddb file is different from the Desura one.

WRONG,
DFTUBEFILL.EXE DFDERAMP.EXE comes up infected.

PANDA CLOUD ANTIVIRUS, says Files are infected with Trojans.

Brief Description

Generic Malware is a Trojan, which although seemingly inoffensive, can actually carry out attacks and intrusions: screenlogging, stealing personal data, etc.

Generic Malware uses the following propagation or distribution methods:
Exploiting vulnerabilities with the intervention of the user: exploiting vulnerabilities in file formats or applications. To exploit them successfully it needs the intervention of the user: opening files, viewing malicious web pages, reading emails, etc.
It is dropped or downloaded to the computer by other malware specimens, for example: Multidropper.RGN, Dropper.XW, Multidropper.RHU, Multidropper.RIS, Multidropper.RLF, Multidropper.RMA, Multidropper.RMB.

Not worth downloading if your files come up as trojans.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FILE.
NO PACKAGE should come up as virus on ANY antivirus.

Don't be lazy, go get the packages and install them

I've wondered this too. Why are game/mod makers using programs or techniques that DO trigger anti-virus programs? It makes no sense to me. Especially if more than ONE program is giving off the warning. I am not saying this has any, as I have not downloaded it. The mod was recommended, but I am not sure if it was meant to be from here which is a site I trust or from a different one. But if multiple people, using multiple anti-virus programs are trying to warn others, I think I shall pass. And I would assume ModDB would check all the stuff uploaded.
