New version of Last Alliance mod ^^ Read more to see information about this version. Update 12.11.20 - I added hotfix to main archive, because many people download only this file and not download hotfix ;-;
This patch is not too large, but it's just a stop on the road to next large update (where probably you will see elves, I hope ^^). Main goal of v0.1.6 it give you more lands in Middle-Earth to play on them. You not find here new playable cultures, but Numenorean and Haradrim received some changes.
Not save compatible
Main changes in Alpha v0.1.6:
- 20 new provinces in Gondor, Enedwaith and Calenardhon (later Rohan)
- New armor for Nizar (Haradrim Black Snake Clan faction leader) (thanks Edred for great concept)
- New armor (still WIP) for Ikrimah (Haradrim Golden Lion Clan faction leader) (thanks Edred for mask concept)
- Nizar and Ikrimah now have own bodyguards (avaiable in campaign and custom battle)
- More variants of movemment animations for spearmen with shields by CherJair
- Some new building icons (for Numenorean) by Mareon
- New campaign settlement models for Haradrim
- Changes in economy - now some buildings basically generate less wealth, but other building can increase it
- Unplayable Wildmen factions in campaign (avaiable in custom battle, but it only few units - so I suggest to not play as them)
- Fixed problems with 2h sword animations
- Removed placeholder custom naval units and restored some vanilla naval units (because AI for some reason not recruit custom naval units)
Changelog Hotfix 1:
- Fixed crashes causes by roads
Changelog Hotfix 2 (Not save compatible):
- Fixed crashes which many people had on Numenor turn when they ended civil war (crash was causes by Tol Uinen island around Romenna (in fix I removed this island) - if player or AI wanted put army which was far away from coast on fleet, then game crashing)
- Fixed some wrongly assigned farms in Gondor
Not fixed bugs:
- Problem with landing troops in Gobel Tolfalas
- Cannons in lvl 5 of castle (just I forgot about it, will fix later)
Installation:
- Newest version of mod you will find here on moddb
- Download current version of mod - tagged as "Full Version"
- Unpack (recommended use 7zip) and put in data folder of Shogun 2
- Download hotfixes (if is any for current version + sometimes hotfix can be included in full version, then in description of full version will be information about it) - tagged as "Patch"
- Unpack and replace files in data folder of Shogun 2
- Run game and select all files in mod manager (if you don't have mod manager - subscribe any mod on workshop, mod manager should be downloaded automatically)
NOTE:
- Recommended difficulty level: Normal
- Mod isn't available on steam
- Mod needs base version of Shogun 2, if you have only Fall of the Samurai (standalone expansion) then mod will be not work
- Installation instruction for Linux you will find on Discord server (link below)
If you have no-english version of game, you have to do also:
- On steam change language to english
or
- Download english language pack from here
- Unpack and put in "data" folder of Shogun2
- Move pack with your language (e.g. local_pl.pack) to another place
- Edit file language.txt, type the EN and save
Informations about permission:
- If you want create submod for this mod - you can use assets from this mod
- If you want to use assets from this mod in another project - you must first ask permission
- If you want to use animations from mod - animations will be available for all, but not yet, because are unfinished, so not use this

Campaign game crashes when researching the "Royal Roads IV." Everything was fine until it researches that.
Which faction? I will check it
The new Numenor faction (forgot the name). Not sure if it happens as well on other numenor factions, haven't tried it.

Just read the description and i can't wait the elves are my favorite race in middle earth and have always wanted to play as them. Which i know you can do in rise of mordor, but the attila engine is shite and i can't run that game. Also this game looks so much better and .Keep up the good work your doing amazing work on this mod and can't wait for it to make rise of mordor a ****** version of this mod.

I have one problem though, im playing as the kindgom of numenor, ive been hammered by Pharazon and basically roleplayed the dunedain and fled to middle earth.
Ive experienced quite a lot of crashes most of which just resolved themselves by reloading the game. But ive reached a point in the game where everytime i end my turn it ctd. Could i send you my error logs? It seems to be a game breaking crash ive encountered and i cant work out what the deal is myself.

Send error logs on Discord server (bug-reports channel) - I noticed that in randomly turn is crash, but I also not found yet from what cause it is :/
I also had another unrelated question, i do a bit of modding myself and I was wondering how did you alter the map in shogun 2? Cause I have been led to believe it can't be done but clearly it can
I used official modding tools (for main changes in campaign) and some fan tools (like ui converter (to change playable factions in main menu) or trees generator). Mods with changed map in Shogun 2 exist from long time (were before release Rome II), but because Shogun 2 was not popular then not too much people knew about them :(

So uhhhhhhhhhhh i have no idea how u got a custom map into the game its ****** awesome downloading now cant believe i didnt know this was out still having to use my imagination for total war rise of morder but i and i hope the rest of the total war community would reallly appreciate it if you told the guys over at total war rise of morder how to do it,give them whatever tool used if one was or just give them a general hand cus as far as im aware your the first modder to do it past empire
Edition of campaign map in Shogun 2 isn't secret - some mods before also did it (e.g. Morning Sun or Expanded Japan) ;)
So, I'm not first who edit campaign map - just first who more popularized information that it is possible :P
And no, unfortunately I can't help RII/Attila modders with find way to edit campaign map. Shogun 2 tools here not work with RII/Attila, and I'm not a programmer or backward engineer to make own tools
