KCC 0.9.4 for SSHIP 0.9.6
The purpose of this mod is to recreate a medieval atmosphere as close as possible to what we know at the time. The game begins in the 12th century.
My priority is therefore to give the player a credible aspect of the costumes and armor worn at that time, as well as at subsequent times insofar as the player will modify the story by his choices.
Having mainly knowledge for the Western factions (I am French), I started my work on these regions of Europe.
So I started by modifying the Western units. But very quickly, it seemed to me necessary to improve all of the units for better immersion.
What the KCC 0.9.4 (v2) version contains:
- 165 units reworked
- New loading screens
- The portraits of the generals without anachronisms- General's bodyguards have horses for the Danish faction
- The stats of the units have been reviewed on the model of Silligoy with the help of Nashpik
What KCC 0.9.4 (v2) does not contain:
- The images of the events are not modified
- The images of the unit cards are not modified
- Integration of version 0.9.7 beta (despite my first intention)
You will find within the mod 2 folders in the SS6.3 folder:
- data XII
- data XIII
When the player reaches the period of the thirteenth century, at the time he wishes, he can copy / overwrite the original data with that contained in the data folder XIII. Thus he will see certain units change, such as officers and horses for example.
To restart a campaign, it will then suffice to overwrite the original data again with the data contained in the data folder XII.
This manipulation can be done as many times as you want!
How to install:
1- Download KCC 0.9.4 (v2)
2- unzip the file in a folder of your choice
3- copy the content of the KCC 0.9.4(v2) folder to the root directory of the game (data and mods folder in Medieval II Total War/... by defaut)
4- accept the replacement of files
5- you can start the game !
