As some fans found some annoying bugs with the IS 2.2.1b release, we decided to make a little patch so as to make IS enjoyable, and we did it.

Installation Process
How to install it:
Uncompress the IS_221b_patch.7z file, you have two folders:
Replace the files from the Data/IS folder by the files contained in the unzip IS_221b_patch/IS folder.
Quote:
E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\empire total war\data\IS
Replace the files from the Data/campaigns/imperial_splendour
folder by the files contained in the unzip
IS_221b_patch/campaigns/imperial_splendour folder.

Changelog
- Fix Artillery prices for other factions which was the causal of the entire artillery armies
- Fix Technology bugs, which prevent you to have bayonets, square formations, etc.
- Adjust new late units prices and stats to IS 2.1.4 ones
- Fix some icons problems and add a new one for General units
- Fix no name units bugs
- Fix the IS 2.1.4 Russian bug that prevent the faction to have post-European doctrine reform
- Add buildings for early French Republican units (shame on me that I forgot to do that earlier)
- Some tech are available at the beginning of the campaign now
- Fix the Artillery issues for Denmark, and German States
Hi! I try to replace by the files into the folders and follow the instructions percisley, however, once I replace the files the launcher on my desktop, for IS, stops working and I am unable to launch the IS Mod. When I try launching the game from Steam it just goes back to being the normal Empire. What I am doing is deleating the old files in the folders and copying and pasting the ones from the Unzip into those folders. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if it something else. Any help would be apreciated, thanks.

this is wayyy to late to tell you but you should not replace them just overwrite them.Put the files in the folder and overwrite them. Good to go!

You don't think that the unit prices are too high? It's only my opinion.
I feel that high unit prices adds to the effect of the game. Due to the high prices, you care about preserving your units, and not just randomly sacrifice them in melee.
I cannot download it. It doesn't work anymore.

I think I got it to work but now it is saying it cannot find empire.exe even though it worked before I added the patch
do you think you can make a patch to fix some other stuff, like some skin for and hats for some units, and maybe fix the research for britain, since it wont let me reserch some things.

Hello Goodnight. I have a problem battles after installing the patch. When playing a battle the armies of the enemy will not appear on the campaign map or the minimap. Only battalions once approached me or they are very close appear. I hope a solution. Thank you

I have been trying to find my Empire.exe file, as when I go to the mod, it says that "Empire.exe" can't be found. I am able to go through the launcher and start up. I can go play the Road of Independence and play battles with AI. However, when I click the Grand Campaign button or the Warpath Campaign button, it crashes. Could someone please instruct me about what to do about this?

Hello. both patches fixed some things. However I still am unable to research final bayonets for France and no square formation. unable to research uniform upgrade for Britain, I also have darthmod installed, is it possible this mod could be interfering..?
