Hello everyone !
The authorisation is complete and i will now be uploading the additional weather and high res texture packages now.
Stay tuned !
Something went wrong with the download and I'm trying to delete it but it is not letting me.
possible file corruption during the download, file may still be in use by a program on your pc
Make sure the file is not still being accessed by an archive utility or is open in a window, try deleting the file after you do a system restart.
Have a look at the following information:
Google.com.au*
Love the mod. Quick question though, are all the gun sounds supposed to sound the same? Or did I goof during installation?
Hello,
Thanks and glad you enjoy the mod !
The sounds are created using real world weapon data & internal ballistics for each gun barrel, each audio file has differing sound properties based on this data.
In the lobby map screen you can try out each individual weapon and compare them to each other, you will find in most cases that volume, pitch, bass, treble and tempo are different to varying levels between each weapon, some weapons are so close to each other in terms of barrel length and muzzle velocity that i have used the same sound map for each. (examples are the 9x19mm personal defence weapons AEK-919k, Mini-Uzi & Steyr TMP)
Also the primary goal of the sound model is to get as close to what a real firefight would sound like in real world, audio recordings and video cannot capture what a real firefight sounds like, i have been to army training demonstrations when my brother was at school of infantry and the sound of even the training rounds is enough to drop your jaw, i would describe it as being close to what a big Chinese new year celebration sounds like when they have massive amounts of firecrackers going off in the middle of the main street.
The development of the sound model is also ongoing, i want to get as close to a real world firefight as possible in shock and intensity. Here is a YouTube video of a recording that is very close to reality.
Cheers !

im kinda suspicious that this came out on april 1st......
The mod is pretty great, but does anyone else have a really hard time telling the factions apart? I know there's a flag patch on each soldier's shoulder, but that's pretty hard to see, and the uniform colors appear to be virtually identical otherwise, save for some small details that are hard to pick out.
Hello everyone,
Version 1.3 of **INFANTRY** suffers a crash to desktop and cannot run when installed over v1.51 of Running With Rifles.
I am in the process of uploading a fixed v1.31 of **INFANTRY**

Hello everyone!
There is a problem with downloading Infantry 1.51 from the moddb servers, it just doesn't work for some reason.
I have created a thread about the issue over at support for moddb and will see if this can be sorted out as soon as possible.
For the time being, i have uploaded infantry_1.51d_core to my google drive:
Drive.google.com
that link will give you access to download Infantry 1.51 directly from my google drive account.
The installation procedure remains the same.
When this issue is resolved with moddb support i will get infantry back up on moddb.
Cheers!

Hello everyone!
The folks over at moddb support have reported that the issue with the servers not mirroring files is now resolved.
The link is back up and working once again!
Regards
Anzac
After installing I get an error that pops up.
Says there's something wrong in the Appdata/roaming files. Fresh installed, didn't fix it.
