The 4.6 release of Hyrule: Total War focusing on the faction overhauls of the Deku Scrubs and the Lizalfos.
Installation:
- Make sure to completely remove older versions of Hyrule: Total War.
- Run Part 1 of the installer. Be sure the file path matches the right location for either the Steam or CD version of Medieval 2
- Run Part 2 of the installer. Be sure the file path matches the right location for either the Steam or CD version of Medieval 2
- If using the Steam version of Medieval 2, follow Procedure#1 at the following link to run mods: Forums.totalwar.com

- New HD Deku units added
- New HD Lizalfos units added
- New Minish units added
- New Volvagian units added
- Massive overhaul in unit stats and balance system
- NPC heroes now have their own units

- New Agent and soldier models for Deku and Lizalfos
- Portarits for above instead of stock Med II images
-Buildings-
- Deku and Lizalfos techtrees added from their guides
- Custom ui for some of the above
-Freeform Features-
- New Minish and Volagian Guilds will appear after conditions are met
- New Guild heroes for the above, who will join your faction
- New raid mechanic for the Gerudo, Lizalfos and River Zora, which allows these factions to enter a 'raid stance' and earn extra rupees by performing certain tasks
- Mad Scrub script for the Deku, where a there is a random chance for large unrest to occur in your cities every few turns
-Bug Fixes etc-
- Fixed issue with Goron mines not working correctly
- Overall improved stability whilst playing battles

whats that patch file? I cant open it.
I have problems for make it start.I select 8 in the AUI batch file and the game freeze during the first loading. What can I do?
The AUI batch file is a relic from a much older version of the mod, the mod should be started by running Executable.bat, not AUI.bat

having an issue where trying to start a campaign crashes the game (tested on lizalfos and labrynna regime
Is it only these two factions or are all of them not starting up?

I'm having the same problem. And with any faction. When I choose a faction to play in campaign and hit start, computer freezes with the pointer spinning like it's loading, but it's not.
Nevermind, sorry. It works.. just takes ages to load. It's all good
I experienced a crash when moving a minish during battle deployment
Is this happening during a campaign map battle or custom battles?
I'm having the same problems installing this version that I had with 4.5. When I try to install the mod it crashes when it reaches the flamethrowers script or whatever. Really wanted to try this mod. I have no clue how to get around this if possible.
Really strange, what OS is your PC using? Is it Windows?
Yep, I have Windows 10. Maybe it's my pc and something is preventing it from finishing. As I said I'm still new to moding games so I have no clue what to do XD
Should I try it again and see if it does the same thing? That's the only thing I can think of that may work. :/
I could try and upload all the files unpacked, just it's quite a few gigs in terms of filesize and I'm not sure a good free place where I can upload files that huge.

I know what you are referring to. It seems frozen but it's not. Leave it for (and I can't stress this enough) like 6-7 minutes. A long time I know, but it does go after a while. Trust me, just go make a sammich and come back to it.
i would like to report a bug involving minor factions both Horon and storm zora crash the game (the zora have since at least the 4.4 update)the tokay and rolling ridge gorons are fine
Are they crashing in battles? On the campaign map? When are they crashing for you?

There seems to be an issue with the Lizalfos faction as in my Hylian campaign every time I go to fight a battle against them it CTDs on the loading screen before the battle map.
hey it seems im only getting part two of the modpack downloaded, is that intentional or something?
No there should be two installer parts included.
dont worry i realized my problem, i was using something other then 7-zip, got both parts now
edit: nevermind new problem, the installer keeps failing at data/blockset/textures/zun_walls1.texture, saying it has invalid data, the specific error is 21FC

I'm having an issue. If I try to go into a battle as Hyrule in the freeform campaign, the game CTD's. Otherwise fantastic work!

When I try to download the mod the file is a .rar file and I don't know what to do with it or if there's something wrong with my computer. For context I'm running windows 7 and using the CD version of total war.
I'm having a similar issue with this. When I download the files there isn't any folders for me to get into to start actually installing the mod.
Download WinRAR to extract RAR-archives- it's free of charge.
I cant seem in recruit any units for any factions no matter how many builds I have the unit roster is empty

Ok, have one very big bug and two wtf's
1. When i try to click custom or fast battle, game immediately crashes. If custom - just crash on desktop, if fast - half of loading bar loads immediately, then crash with error "woopsie, game crashed, and we don't have any idea why" or something like that. I installed all properly, only deleted crusaders addon, but shouldn't be an issue, since campaign works perfectly.
2. How you use Essence of Tarm hero? When aimed at enemy gates, this thing just spawns catapult stone(seems so) just in front of itself. Tried to fire with it only one time, though.
3. Author, grrrr! You managed to pull frigging cutscenes in friggin total war, why you deleted history campaign?
1. This crash started to happen for me as well, and the solution is to first start a campaign, then exit to the main menu and after that play a custom battle or a quick battle.
I've had this issue in Game of Thrones: Enhanced and Warcraft too. Warcraft: Total War did solve it by adding missing lines in the expanded.txt-file - but with Hyrule they're all there so I don't know why it happens.. But as long as you first start a campaign then that crash won't happen until you restart the game - you'd need to always start a campaign prior to doing quick/custom-battles in this mod or it will crash, but only once per start-up.
Hi, i have installed the new version some days ago and now the game keep crashing.
I don't know why since with older versions i didn't have any crashes but now with 4.6 everytime i start a siege battle in the campaign mode with moblins im costantly getting this error:Microsoft visual c++ runtime library.
That's odd, cause i have deleted the older version of the mod and im pretty sure that i have installed this one correctly, plus i have updated my graphic driver recently and i have also updated my visual c++ to the latest.
Is this mod compatible with other mods?Cause i have Third age and call of warhammer too.
Edit:So far quick,custom and normal battles work fine and the siege of villages in the campaign mode too...i'll update you as soon i will be able to siege another city.
P.s.Can't find my auto-saves, my game crashed after 40 turns or something in the strategy map :( guess i will have to save a lot.
By the way: i have the steam edition of medieval 2.

Edit 2: Even after a clean installation of med2 the mod keep crashing with the runtime error while in sieges, im running out of ideas here :/
i have a question (i don't know much about this kind of stuff) but i have downloaded Medieval 2 and kingdoms and the mod (4.6) but when i try to open the game it pops up this weird page named "Product Activation" and it said's "before you can use this software, you have to activate it." also i know that it is not Medieval total war 2 or Kingdoms because the vanilla version of the game works completely.I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem or if you could tel me how to fix it.
