MOD: HYPERBOREAN DIFFICULTY, (WISE BLADE) V 1.5.1 English version. Greetings! My aim is to achieve more versatility and more intense playing experience, improving the original. For this, I added many new improvements and I have adapted other improvements already known. This mod was scheduled from the original files, changing only the python code. Really, remains a lot of work... I could show a list in spanish of "things done and things for do...", this list have more than 15 o 20 pages. These lists only is interesting for modders, the players could not understand well... maybe, I guess.

Sorry, you are right, there is mistakes in the code of V1.51 that makes crash the saved-loaded game. You can use the No-load mode and the Select Map and hero cheat, in the extras menu. The V1.6 is >90% finished, nearly all mistakes are corrected; and I added more cool features, but remains a lot of work... and I got not much free time for work in the mod. But I am still on it.

Debido a la complejidad del código, en la V1.51 hay errores que impiden cargar-guardar la partida. En el archivo Leeme puedes encontrar la lista de errores conocidos. Para ello, en el menú Extras-trucos hay una opcion que permite elegir mapa y heroe... Disculpen las molestias; ahora en la V1.6 esos errores estan corregidos y se puede guardar-cargar la partida. Aunque surgen otros errores que voy solucionando conforme el codigo crece en complejidad, al añadir más caracteristicas.
La V1.6 está finalizada al 96%. Y aún queda mucho trabajo por hacer... las nuevas caracteristicas son bastante complejas; pero estoy progresando cada dia poco a poco.

Precisamente ese tipo de mensaje que muestra la consola python de BoD, es producto de numerosos errores en el código. Tardé casi dos meses en verificar cada error de "pickledobjects" que pude ver, debido a la complejidad del código; aunque tal vez se hayan omitido algunos más. Cada mensaje de error señala el conflicto provocado en el código, las funciones o clases involucradas que se ejecutaban, los archivos implicados y el número de linea que es la ubicacion donde está el error de código.
Es ahi donde hay que buscar y comenzar a corregir, verificando siempre las estructuras y que funcione para el propósito que se quiere conseguir...
(A veces cuando se intenta modificar o corregir algo, se crean más errores en el código.)
Todos los errores que he visto, los he corregido 98%. El resto de errores podrian ser incompatibilidades con el código compilado C++, y eso no se puede modificar.
Para eso es necesario conocimientos de lenguajes Python y C++... Y mucha perseverancia, pues es complejo.
En privado le explicaré algunos detalles.

He de darte la enhorabuena has hecho algo increíble, juego desde que tengo 10 u 11 años y cuando probé tu mod me pareció fantástico he de decir que te lo has currado.
Yo tengo win 8.1 pro y el juego en su cd original; cuando instalo tu mod funciona bien, pero cuando llego a isla de karum no puedo guardar en toda la partida como guarde e intente volver a carga esa partida se queda pillado en "pickledobjects", pense que podria deberse solo al mapa y que al siguiente podria guardar pero cuando termino el mapa de isla de karum no pasa a la siguiente es como si no me la hubiera pasado ¿sabes porque? o si se debe a lo que explicabas antes.

Son errores en el codigo de los mapas, enemigos, objetos y otras cosas... Habian implicados más de 12 archivos .py de Scripts, de Lib, y en los mapas. Mucha complejidad y no pidria explicar aqui todo el proceso.
Si se usa la opcion "Seleccionar mapa y heroe", no se puede viajar entre mapas, el juego se cierra para evitar errores.
V1.6 está 97% completado.

Remains a lot of work, I can not say a day exactly... Sorry. May be I will need several months, I do the best I can.
I do not know when or how, but I will finish the V1.6; and later the mod will need a V1.7 too, due to the proyect "Hyperborean mod" have unknown errors in the code that I am fixing, and also have more features that can not get out, in a single version. For example: the dialogues in all maps, 30 achievements-rewards, the new characters like traders or renegade heros, the new history and new final of the game (Dal Gurak and Aserat could win the war)... Etc.
So the V1.6 will have almost all the features, I hope that the errors in the code will be corrected; but the Rewards of the Achievements will be for the V1.7, because these can change all the game playing experience and are very complex... (For example, playing with a Encarnated god, or playing with the orcs in the "Beast mode".)
It is too much work to do, but I am going forward step by step, sorry for the delay.

no, no me has entendido, no uso esa opción "seleccionar mapa y heroe" bueno si la uso pero no da ningun fallo, el problema es en la campaña, cuando llegas en la campaña a islas de karum no pasa al siguiente mapa se quede en el mismo.

hey everyone, i know it may be late now and the new version of this mod should be released soon, but i have the solution for those experiencing no sound and no text
step 1:go to your BOD folder and there choose Sounds, then change the name of the folder EnglishUS to English.
step 2:go to Data/Text, after the mod was copied there will be two folders called English and EnglishUS, put all the files from the second folder to the first one, except for casa.py, map2d.py and tutor.py(these files are already there, if you try to copy/paste the files from the English to the EnglishUS folder and rename it, the game won't work properly.
step 3(maybe optional):go to config folder, open the lang.ini file and change language to english.
then launch the game, it should be all working.
