v 2.5.0
- The national focus "Metal Processing In Vojvodina" is now available after completing the focus "Yugoslavian Pact Of Everlasting Friendship", though it still requires ownership of the state of Vojvodina.
- New countries added in 1.2 (Sunflower), now have their names displayed correctly.
- After completing the focus "Invite Bulgaria", Bulgaria now gets a claim on some Yugoslavian, and Romanian provinces.
- Poland and Bulgaria no longer get the "Invited to Faction" (+20) relation boost if they decline the invitation sent via the national focuses.
- A focus to demand Italian provinces of Austria-Hungary (Istria and South-Tirol/Trentino) has been added.
- Fixed a localisation issue with the event "Funding for the Győri program"
- New focus in the communist branch: "German Revolution". The focus is mutually exclusive with "War On Fascism", and starts intensive funding of communist revolutionaries in Germany (in the form of a national spirit). Should Germany turn communist after this focus was completed, an event might fire, that invites them into the Comintern (or an other communist faction), and removes the national spirit.
- Germany can now oppose the restoration of Austria-Hungary while the focus "Restore The Monarchy" is being completed. If Germany decides to oppose, Hungary gets the option to back down, or continue negotiations, giving Germany a casus belli against Hungary.
- Focus priority for AI Hungary has been set up, so it will no longer pursue ahistorical goals, if the game is set to historical AI.
- Some focuses have been assigned weight, so if historical AI is turned off, the AI will not just mindlessly go from right to left on the focus tree.
- An event was added for Austria-Hungary, which can fire any time after it is formed, and enables the player to change the capital from Budapest to Vienna in exchange for a small sum of Political Power.
Király, újabb frissítés :D köszi!
This is the best National Focus tree mod right now. Amazing work.
A mod steam es verzioját mostmár frissitettem elnézést de a csúszásér de most vettem észre hogy új verzió jelent meg xD
Great mod!
Hungary is one of the best countries to have fun in HoI IV.
I've been wondering if you could add few new focuses related to Axis.
Due Hungarian low manpower, thats most reasonable way to win game.
Message "they drunked vodka again" is killer. :) (when Poland refuses alliance)
Thanks for your hard work,
D
Hi!
I'm glad you like the mod. What exactly did you have in mind for the Axis related focuses? I did want to expand that part, since it pales in comparison to the monarchist branch, but the central theme of that approach is that Hungary lets her fate to be governed by Axis powers (mainly Germany), which kind of happened historically.
I'm more than aware of the manpower issues of Hungary, I tried to counter that with the focus "Conscription Reforms", and also "Reassert Old Claims" (since it adds cores on old territory - giving you the full manpower if you conquer them).
Axis focuses:
I've been thinking about Reverting Treaty of Triation but my bad, I haven't realized that "reassert old claims" is available when you part of Axis.
:(
Hungarian "betrayal" could be nice addition when soviets are winning the war. It could eg. automatically create communist state with extremely low unity.
Monarchist branch is even better idea (than expanding axis) if you are going to follow central powers theme. Even tho, I've been thinking about allowing all manpower to be available (when you conquer ex. Austro-Hungary provinces) on cost of unity or fighting skills eg. morale / organisation.
Again, my bad with manpower. I buried 300k Hungarians on damn Carpathians against Romania, then I could't have stomach to fight against Germans.
By the way... Romanians had 4 tank div on 38!!!
Bastards. :D
The betrayal sounds fun, though I think it should be more of an event (or a series of events), than a focus. I'll definitely work on that in the future. Maybe even an other variant for when the Allies are winning against Germany. Historically, Hungary did want to "jump" out of the war, either siding with the Soviets, or the Allies, but that attempt was too late, and Germany occupied the whole country before it could happen.
Getting full manpower from non-core provinces is something that is outside of the boundaries of this mod, I think. It would no longer just be a Hungarian flavor mod, as this is one of the core mechanics of the game. Changing that would upset the balance of the game, regardless of what this manpower would cost (organisation sounds the most logical, as these units would not necessarily be the most loyal to their overlords).
Thanks for your feedback!
Köszi a visszajelzést!
