From what I can tell and what I've learned, it's pieced together work-in-progress, incomplete, or otherwise experimental ideas, concepts, and demos made more complete and playable by the community. There are tons of new and different things going on in this download.

The mod crashes shortly after startup, while loading the main menu map.
Any potential reasons and possible fixes for this?
I already checked to make sure HL2, Episode 1, and Episode 2 are working correctly.
I found a fix.
To anyone else with a similar issue, you just need to opt into the "upcoming" beta for Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer by right clicking on the software in Steam, selecting properties, and then choosing the beta build on the beta tab.

Having an issue where dog is not opening the lazer gates other than the inital one, both the alyx and tunnel ones both arn't working.
This was interesting, the maps weren't very fun but upgrading Dog is super-cool, even if the upgrades are too expensive, especially when you also have to use the same resources for vital progression.
Very interesting to see what could've been, mechanic-wise, that is.
Constantly crashes whenever it tries to load the main menu. I have everything I need installed so idk what the issue is.

I have source sdk 2013 singleplayer installed. but I dont know what you mean or how to change the beta branch to upcoming.
I guess he means with upcoming branch,
-Open Steam
-Go into Library
-Right click on SDK Base 2013 SP and properties
-Now go to BETAS menu an choose upcoming-
-Done

Damn it... I feel like some group of REALLY talented people should come together and make episode 3 more than just what we have here. I want it to be a full episode... But I guess that'll never happen, huh? At least we have this...

After playing on hl3/ken_resource_gathering for a few hours, resources from enemies stopped dropping, giving an error in console: CBaseEntityList::AddNonNetworkableEntity: no free slots!

The game won't start for me. I'm pretty sure I did the installation correct, but it says that the gameinfo.txt is not a valid format.

It's not that we deserve. Ironically, I played the mod with the "episode three" name years ago, and it is the best close to the possible HL3 I got. But now all chances about HL3 is gone.

Is there some sort of installer im supposed to install cause i cant play this
on the resource gathering map, when D0g uses the energy harvester, the game crashes. What do I do?

I tabbed the options until I windowed the game.

Jackathan I know you said the Mac/Linux release would be coming out today. Is that still true or has there been a delay. Just asking because its getting pretty late in the day and I have a mac.

Same, have HL2, ep 1 and 2. Dloaded source 2013 single and set to upcoming. Nothing I do will make it show up :(
Any way to run it manually?
Edit: Never mind, I was putting it in the "common" folder, there's a "sourcemod" folder in the one before common, and you put in there. Shows up now...
