[OLD VERSION] This is the complete release package for Mobility Mod version 1.0. It contains the modified Half-Life 2 engine and the gamedata for the new maps. It does not contain the original Half-Life 2 maps - they are loaded from your Half-Life 2 installation.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: This release no longer works as of a Feb 2019 Half-Life 2 update. After you install the mod, you need to install the fix from here : Moddb.com

Features in this release:
- double jump
- power slide
- run on walls
- climb on ledges
- throw grenade button
- airboat can fire multi-target rockets
- five-map tutorial and mini-campaign
- melee enemies with the use button
- crowbar damage increases with player speed
- 357 Magnum shoots through anything up to six inches thick
- crouching reduces bullet spread with SMG and AR2
- hopper mines easier to pick up
- bullet impact sounds louder on hit
- cheat modes:
- mario mode - landing on enemies does dissolve damage
- floor lava - take damage while on the world
- exploding bullets - all your bullets explode on impact
- tough citizens - ally NPCs are much tougher, don't die instantly
- extra enemies - enemy-spawners spawn extra enemies - zombie, metrocop, combine soldier, combine elite. I figured no-one would want more manhacks or headcrabs.

How do we install it?
There's an install guide under the files tab. Hopefully you found it already.
I followed the guide but It's not appearing in Steam
Check that it unzipped to the right folder. It should be steamapps\sourcemods\hl2_mobility, with the file gameinfo.txt in it.
Also make sure you exit steam through the menu - the 'x' in the corner won't actually exit.

is it possibly to run this with smod? (really want the slide, wallrun, melee, grenade, and ledge grab)
Nah, you can't really combine mods where they both have engine changes. You could probably add maps, textures, sounds etc from other mods, but functional changes like bullet-time or wallrunning, new weapons/entities, all has to be compiled from the source code.
Will this work with ep 1 and 2?
No, the episodes have engine changes. Have to wait for the next version of the mod.

Would this work with MMod/HL2:Update? It'd be a wonderful addition.
You might be able to copy maps/sounds/models/textures across from other mods, but changes to the engine like (new weapons, new lighting and effects) wouldn't work.
Uhhhh It won't extract, It says unexpected end of archive.
Corrupted download maybe? Try deleting and downloading again. If that doesn't work try using a different program to extract it.
