extract, put heraldic armies folder in module folder, to install wse take wse folder and put in warband folder make a shortcut to desktop with wse loader launch game with wse loader. one of my early mods, pretty simple mod it had more added but started throwing errors I'll take a look and get that stuff added back in

adds 8 towns and 16 villages, brainy bots, heraldic horses, most armors show heraldry, battle dust, banner lances, banner carrier armor, this is what empire III was built off

should work with 1.172 unless it's a steam version wse doesn't seem to work with steam versions of warband
