Awesome, i've been following along, everything you've done so far is great.

Still waiting on that spirit for the covies ;)..

Nah in all honesty i know this is your mod, made mostly for you, it's just great to still see the love for this game, community members like you are what really make games special.

If you want to have some improvements or things to work towards that i personally think would just add a bit more.. fun?

- Anders as a trainable unit (for anders) in the field armoury.

- Forge as a trainable unit (for Forge) in the field armoury

- Obviously a spirit for the covies, just for transport or even as another air unit that can attack (or both ;) )

- A power wheel for covies just like the UNSC, that has the heal power, pickup and leader power.. (dunno the logistics and modding capabilities just thought it would balance things a bit more, for example the leader power would be what ever cov leader you chose, and chosing the leader power from the wheel would just snap you to your leader and initiate the power.. the transport power for the covies would be spirits ect ect.. )

- Add in Rhino tanks for all UNSC leaders (or select leaders as an extra vehicle)

- Make pelicans hijackable by spartans (if possible)

isnt really an addition but I've noticed that when the needler ghost is idle and bobbing about the needler pods remain static, dunno if it's something that could be changed however it just looks a little derpy when the ghost itself is bouncing around and the pods aren't.

That's all from me, like i said just my opinions and ****, keep up the great work and lets hope this game never gets forgotten :)

GRR ALL YOU PEOPLE WANT IS SPIRITS FINE I'LL ADD SPIRITS HAPPY NOW?! (Oh come on you know I'm kidding honestly I should add them I'll find someway to balance them in.)

Forge and Anders as leaders is overdone as hell. (But I like adding stuff that people want. Surely I'll find a work around so yall will get your favorite couple ingame and have my babys (meaning the OC's don't make it dirty ^^).)

A Power wheel for Covenant what is this Hw2? what a trash game i don't want that in my balanced Hw1! (Funnily enough I was thinking about adding the leader wheel for cov i'd just have no idea what to do from there tho i'll play around with the idea and see what happens.)

I added Rhino Turrets so that I wouldn't have to add Rhino's my loophole failed! (The only reason why Rhino's are not in the mod already is because I don't know where you'd train it I could add a second vehicle depot like the spartan barracks but ehh not sure.)

I'm terrible at building new vehicle based units. (That coding messes me up fam I was lucky I was able to attach the needler turret to the Ghost XD but hey I'll try my best.)

Thank you for the comment, your suggestions and your opinions it gives me a reason to do back into the jungle that is hw1's code and add stuff.

They do train them just very randomly or late into the game. (I've tried everything to make the AI more responsive and challenging but it did not result in anything worthwhile. This games AI is very random sometimes they play like veterans other times they don't make a single unit.)

and i've never actually properly looked into Hw2, i saw the complete overhaul to the games look in the trailer and didnt get much further.

Look honestly, i'd be happy with just the spirits addition lol, that and some way to heal Cov units without having to get engieers or make engineers available when the game starts in the main base not the air units, because getting a air pad is scuffed, and they take so ******* long to train.

Oh one thing I meant to add in my previous post is that for me, the AI on no matter what level for ally UNSC would basically never build turrets. They also will hoard resources sometimes and not build enough units early. Minor criticisms I will keep an eye on and let you know how it plays. So excited to try this new update!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay played it so far and the improvements are a definite step in the right direction. The AI actually seems to be a little smarter also!

Siege turrets are pretty good. I wish you could add an auto target option for the covenant mega turret. I also wish the covenant mega turret had a better animation for the shell fired (a little thicker) and a bigger explosion upon impact. Maybe a little more damage too.

I still think adding more turret slots or building slots could be a fun option to fiddle around with. I also think adding in some new units would be cool. My favorite are units that take up an area such as a mobile garrion or mobile siege.

Flood would stillbe a great add on.

A different leader for each faction would be cool also that has unique traits and powers.

Did you ever play Command and Conquer? It would be interesting if one of the wheeled building you could build was some sort of super weapon that costs a lot and will basically act as a nuke. For the Covenant, it could be an ultra powerful glassing beam. And for the UNSC it could be a nuke.

I like what you've done so far and thank you so much for continuing to update this. The more creativity, the better. Balance will come over time but adding more elements makes this game fresh and still a hell of a lot of fun!!!

Wondering also how difficult it would be to add maps. If it's too difficult, no biggie, but it would be nice to have some more 3v3 maps especially.

Whatever works for you though. You've done a lot already. Much appreciated again and I'll add more of my thoughts if I get them.

I'm glad you are of the same opinion also that halo wars 2 is trash ;) ;)

It would be interesting to add a few elements from it though and I don't necessarily mean a leader wheel for covenant.

But, the blisterbacks would be awesome to have in this game or something like it. also the reavers are a pretty sick anti air unit also.

Some of the infantry also were cool like the grenadiers, goliaths, snipers, grunt riders, etc.

The condor was kind of cool also but you buffed the vultures pretty high in this game so it's probably not necessarily. Having a bunker drop leader power would be kind of cool.

Adding mech units would be sweet also.

having a couple super units you could get for each faction would be cool also. Or if you could build a super unit focused on something specific. For example, normal scarab vs toxic scarab. Toxic scarab does less damage but poisons the area around it like voridus' did.

Idk, these ideas might be a little wild but I love shaking things up and adding new features. I love the base game of halo wars 1 so much better but there are some elements of halo wars 2 that would be fun to see in this game.

Hell, is it possible to have a survial/firefight mode in this? That's probably asking way too much but just a thought.

Thanks again for keeping this alive. Can't say it enough. I'm just trying to throw ideas out since you're spending effort making them a reality. I figure the least I could do is present a bunch of ideas to make that portion of development easier.

This is going to be a long reply due to the multiple comments so get your reading glasses. ^^

At first I wanted Mega Turrets to be auto targeted but it was very buggy like Sonic 06 buggy it would not have worked out. (It was hilarious the turret would aim up and just fire into the sky only for the rounds to fall like rain on its enemys though very funny to watch it was buggy.

I was thinking about the idea of different base sites like one with more turret slots and less build slots so you mentioning the idea is a reminder to try that. (Thanks for the idea and for the indirect reminder!)

I will not be adding the flood as a faction. (I personally don't really like the flood not saying their bad or anything i'm just not their biggest fan however that does not mean I wouldn't add Flood based units though.

Now other different factions I'll consider not going to make any right now but maybe soon.

Nah Halo Wars 1 and 2 are the only RTS's I've ever played. But I'm playing around the leader wheels or UNSC and Cov so we'll see.(Manly because its Halo Based i'm not even good at these games.

I think you can only add Campaign maps in multiplayer and that is very difficult. Making whole new maps I think is impossible. (I guess if one mod converts Campaign maps to multiplayer you could copy the data and paste it into your own mod but I'd ask for permission first.)

I'm not sure if a unit that garrisons and lets the units garrisoned shoot while garrisoned (Mouth full I know.) can work but Uber Unit variants can be easily be made.

Making different modes is not possible at all. (I think.)

Whoa Whoa when I said that Halo wars 2 was trash I was joking. XD (I think both Halo Wars 1 and 2 are equal both do things right and wrong but I love them both despite their flaws.

Spoilers I know but the next update has a Mech based leader nough said.

I'm keen for the new leader, and as 105kg said, varients or just new uber units would be cool, personally i'd love to see something huge.. and like i always say i'm not a moder and dunno the limitations but if you could find someway or figure out how, to make something massive in the sky be it covie or unsc that would be dope, i don't care if it's a supersized pelican or perhaps even just a supersized scarab that would be dope...

to elaborate on that or make it easier to read, picture a pelican (similar to the condor in HW2) just scaled up.. 2x or 2.5x bigger than the pelican visible in game, just a thought..

other than that really all i'm waiting for is the spirit <3

Oh... and heres a thought, what about adding a bit more of a mix, i noticed you did it with the upgrades for the smaller leaders, like the railgun sniper or plasma smg upgrades, but heres a thought, for some changes to vehicles or potentially just new units in general, adding more variety to the weapons, whether it be the shots they fire or doing what you did with the ghost and adding extra stuff to the models, could be nice to have a mix of covie and unsc vehicles, or finding ways to splice forunner stuff to vehicles would be pretty cool.. picture a scorpion but with sentinel spikes coming off the back that shoots beams that disable other vehicles.. just a thought, seems like it'd be a interesting thing to fiddle around with.

I don't think you can change the size of units sadly but me being the cringey Halo fan I am I have a lot of fan made vehicles luckily many of them are edited variants of other vehicles I have yet to add (Manly due to me not wanting to force TOO many OC ideas) but heck if peps want creative I'll give you creative. ^^ (Even though your one commenter I'll assume your speaking for everyone dangerous I know.)

But be warned i'm pure trash at combining unit models together so don't surprised if some look like garbo. (look at the Needler Ghost it's passable i guess but still ugly xD.)

Spoilers but the Spirit has already been finished and trust me y'all will love it. (I hope!)

I do not. I mod using the steam version I'm not sure if data from mods can be transferred from PC to modded Xbox but i would not be surprised if it worked.
