[ Half-Life 2 : MMod ] Version 1.1 {OBSOLETE} file

Half-life 2 : MMod is primarily a gunplay enhancement mod for all current Half-Life 2 games and Steam Store redistributed Half-Life 2 Mods ( every mod needs "compatibility patch" ). Because of that, HL2MMod relies on the Half-Life 2 games, which are installed on your system.

Half-Life 2 : MMod can support user-created mods, as long as they don't have their own binary files ( client.dll, server.dll ), for that they need "compatibility patches", an example of such patch can be the Lost Coast version of mmod, check out its gameinfo.txt for an example on how HL2MMod manages and loads its content.

Half-Life 2 : MMod relies upon the BETA ( Upcoming ) branch of Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer, which can be installed from your Tools section on steam. MAKE SURE TO SET Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer TO BETA ( UPCOMING ) BRANCH : Right click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer in your steam library->Betas->Select "Upcoming". Restart steam.

If you plan to make a "compatibility patch", then make sure your patch includes these folders : resource ( just icons and fonts ), resource_gameui2, shadereditorui - there are mandatory to insure proper support with HL2MMod.

TLDR :

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~BEFORE YOU INSTALL : MAKE SURE TO DELETE ALL PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF HALF-LIFE 2 : MMOD FROM YOUR SOURCEMODS FOLDER, DO A CLEAN INSTALL, YOU SHOULD NOT BE PROMPTED TO REPLACE FILES~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Install : Half-Life 2 , Half-Life 2 : Episode 1, Half-Life 2 : Episode 2, Half-Life 2 : Lost Coast ( optional ) and Half-Life 2 : Update. Install Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer and set it to beta ( upcoming ) branch : Right click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer in your steam library->Betas->Select "Upcoming". Put HL2MMod, HL2MMod_EP1, HL2MMod_EP2, HL2MMod_HL2U, HL2MMod_LC from HL2MModv1.1 folder into : \Steam\steamapps\sourcemods. Restart Steam. Now you should have Half-Life 2 : MMod version for each Half-Life 2 game.

You now should have 5 new folders in your SourceMods folder. After restarting your Steam Client you should have 5 new instances of MMod for each game. If the game instantly crashes to your desktop after you launch it - check if your Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer is set to Upcoming

Fully redone content mounting system from scratch, which should completely fix all content related issues, huge thanks to Agent Agrimar for sharing his work with me!
Added Tau Cannon ( Gauss Rifle ) and ability to mount/dismount it from Buggy in Half-Life 2 Campaign, added particles to Buggy.
Separated all gunplay/health effects, you can now turn them on or off individually, though I would not recommend doing that from aesthetic standpoint.
Added several new options into Half-Life 2 MMod Settings, reorganized menu, customize away!
Added 3 new weapon spread options, Default HL2 : Vanilla Half-Life 2 Spread, no adjustments. Default HL2 Mix : Vanilla + spread adjustments depending on stance, speed, ironsighted or not. Half-Life 2 : MMod : Default HL2 Mix + Spread increases overtime, from lowest to max.
Added new sounds for Combine Gunship, Dropship and Helicopter.
Added Muzzle/Tracer/Impact particles for Gunship, Dropship, Strider and Helicopter.
Added Muzzle/Tracer/Impact particles to Airboat & Airboat gun.
Separated Kill Feedback sound from Hit Feedback sound.
Added option to make NPC's flinch every shot, making gunplay more satisfying.
Added new crossbow reload animation while being in zoom.
Sped up crossbow bolt.
Stunstick now hurts you when you swing it underwater.
Added Tau Cannon to HL2/EP1/EP2 Campaigns.
Replaced and optimized fire particles, added burning npc particles.
Added combine jumping back.
Added secondary fire to pistol and .357, it now toggles ironsights.
Disabled ( by default ) projectile bullets for gunship and dropship.
Many many many more optimizations and misc. bugfixes.
