The current version used on our server - if you wish, download it and test it for your own purposes (its Open SP, single player commands are available on discord) which is a very rough idea of what the mod is supposed to be. The last update for this version was back in August of 2018, and since then, we have made major modifications, and the game will look vastly different, yet still familiar. The reason we have published anything since is that we have troubles with the autoupdater, so we are trying to put as many changes and improvements in a single update as possible (while not over-crowding it to cause instability).
If you are a returning player to Warzone, hope it can satisfy you until the Alpha build arrives, and if you are a completely new player to Warzone, I hope this will give you a taste for more!
A portable version, just download it, unpack somewhere and run the game with Freelancer.exe found in the EXE directory, and you should see our server in multiplayer. Needs about 2.2GB of free space. (If you experience Crash to Desktop often, go to your start menu, documents, my games, freelancer, accts, and delete ONLY the Single Player folder, it should fix it)

Like Chaos, Old Warzone used 4.87 for the longest time, and stuck to it - but in our case, we continued the story in our own way, have other goals in mind, and achieve said goals in different ways. (These can be experienced better during Alpha, and we are still working hard on it)
We are not trying to 'steal' members from other communities - Our old community unexpectedly died roughly 1,5 years ago (Discoveryfl.co.uk you can use Wayback Machine to check - yes, we existed), and we lost contact with 90% of our members, and if possible want most of them back. But that shouldn't discourage you from joining if you have nowhere else to go! During the years, Warzone itself became a refuge for players who also lost their communities due to the man in charge disappearing, community dying out, players slowly leaving, them getting being exiled, banned.. but, still want to enjoy freelancer in all it's glory, even 16 years after it's release. Warzone is for them, and we are more lenient toward certain things if you can keep one thing in mind - have fun, but you should also allow others to have their kind of fun!

Thank you for the feedback, and yes, we are planning a lot of videos, promoting material and showcases when the Alpha is released, because that's when we have a lot of assets to work from :) If I get some time next to modding, I might put together something informative, but time will tell how that will go down!
