Lets you form a Kingsguard like title if you are an Emperor(Called Kings in AGOT).
This will let Emperors create a vassal landless duchy called {Primary Title}guard through a diplomacy option, you can use it on an unmarried non prisoner male courtier that is a trained+ fighter, you can then offer a guardsman position trained+ non married non ruler non prisoner male realm characters to the new Guard complete with a Guardsman trait, up to 7.
I need some longer run testers to check and basically make sure the title is always recognized as a Guard title even if you or the holder of the guard title dies or if 100 years go, etc. Also test that there can be more than one guard title in the world but only 1 in a given empire, and that you can only have 7 guards in any particular Guard.
Built it onto the bodyguard system, so you can pull a guardsman to your court to act as one of your bodyguards and guard captain if applicable. Effectively acting like Kingsguard.
If you die, a straggler guard with no charge should be pulled back to their commander's court.
Now with maintenance to select a new Commander when one dies.
You can grant a spare castle in your capital, if you own it or the owner is a baron tier in which case they will be upset with you, to the guard.

Current character frames are rips of AGOT Teams, will hopefully change them out eventually.
Please update to 1.7!
Have you tried it, shouldn't need updates as it is all contained in this mod. Have been issues where ck2 randomly decides to not recognize the mod, starting a new game tends to correct it, but nothing I can do about that.
Nevermind, it works fine. However I am curious as to how the game handles guard characters. Does your mod ensure that they are always following/near their liege, like the AGOT Kingsguard? Can they pop up in duel events even when not given a bodyguard title?
One minor bug is that when a new Guard Commander takes over, and you've given the guard a castle, he inherits it feudally rather than via the guard government and the title also leaves your realm.
Will this one ever be updated for 1.8? I know you don't continue all of your mods so I thought I'd ask.
