I tried to install the mod version for 1.5.1 from the description (using MO2) and it doesn't show up in MCM or change default animations. The mod is enabled in the MO2 mod pane along with a few other mods. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, if someone could help I'd be grateful.

Why is there no animation for picking up items if the option is enabled in the MCM?

I am randomly getting this error when trying to use an item that has animations. Sometimes I can play and use items for 1 hour and other times it crashes the first time I use an item after loading the game. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
therre is a pop up when using version 1.5.1 that does not let you remove it for a good 30 to 45 seconds after game is loaded, could you make it where we can tell fdda its fine right away this is very annoying and almost makes fdda not worth having in my opinion

Есть мод где NPC используют укрытие при перестрелках в Сталкер Аномали ,почему NPC тупят при контакте с противником ,бегут сломя голову на врага ,не используя укрытие?
Периодически, при открытии рюкзака, анимация не проигрывается, управление блокируется (и инвентарь не открывается).
Скрипт анимации рюкзака не трогал, он ничем не перезаписывается. При выключенных анимациях рюкзака, инвентарь открывается адекватно.
У меня такая же проблема
Сейм проблема. Происходит после перезахода в игру + Все обычные анимации ломаются.

By the way, any plans on adding skinning animations like chopping for axes? Its kinda weird to skin with the axe the same way it does with the knife lol

Whenever i smoke a ciggarette my game crashes. does it have to do with my character getting cancer or something
First suspect in mind is mod incompatibility.
Generally speaking, these script crashes are linked to critical files that are being overwritten.
First - read addons description, then suspect someshit.

I'm calm as deep fried chicken nugget, and your "help" wouldn't work since this crash related to not loaded smoke particles config which happened only cuz that dude installed addon on old amomawy version.

Regularly when using health items and medkits, the animation won't show, and then most keys are unresponsive afterwards (I can move and use Esc to load a previous save game), but otherwise I'm completely stuck and forced to load a previous save game.
Is this something that will be fixed soon? I'm a huge fan of this mod, but had to turn it off because of this. I've seen other people mention this too, so this is real widespread issue afaik.

Just curious, did you manage to fix it? If so, how?
I don't think I got it removed 100%, but using Mod Manager 2, and installing mods in the right order - the issue went away like 95%. Mod Manager is an absolute must, if you're not using it.
Can't tell you the right order though, I sold my GPU and stopped playing games.

Aloha, I have no idea what the problem is, but the tin cans have stopped working for a while.
Everything else works.
Nothing is written to the log. Not even with the log command activated.
If you eat the can, the keyboard freezes. Only Esc works.
I also have a question. Can you actually use the old 1.5.1 version in 1.5.2?
BTW, the prefetch files cause a lot of stuttering. And I have pretty good hardware.
So only tin cans? and they stopped to work entirely? everytime? or there is some conditions to recreate bug?
also prefetch files shouldn't create any stutters, they used to call all anims and sounds only on game load to add records to animations and sound cache table ( which is just text records and uses few Kbytes )
Yes, it only affects the tin cans. I just did several tests in Fakelevel. Of 5 fake start level charges, 2 attempts with all cans worked consistently. But nothing works in the game anymore.
This started since I started using the modded exe's. It started with the stuff called (Psut). In the game I now only eat sausage, bread and the cooked meals. I have no idea where the worm is in there.
I have now activated the prefetch files again and got this error message when I started a savegame for the first time.

when I want to skin a mutant, the knife that appears in the animation is always the m9 bayonet, no matter which one I have equipped, does anyone know why this could be?
Seems you are using some knives addon that adds new knives, so you need to manually add their in game names into harvest config.
Hey, are you familiar with the clipping issue for the take anim on BaS guns (due to hud changes in weapon ini files)?
Basically, when you equip a BaS gun, the take animation will normaly play but you will experience clipping at the end of the arm, due to the high hud_fov settings. Everything above 0.65 hud_fov seems to introduce the clipping issue.
I already tried editing your "take_item_anim" script, by adding the "fov_anim_manager.change_fov(0.45)" line to the part of the function "actor_on_item_before_pickup(item,flags)", but it doesnt change anything.
Any help is appreciated.
