This mod is fantastic, great work you put into it.
Yet, for some reason I can´t load the save games, is there something I did wrong.

when i unopaussed the game in the year 58 it crashes
Map is all ****** up, ****** Mexico owns a province in India occupied by Spain
This mod always crashing after I exit the game and load its saved game files, also the map is bugged. One example of bugged map in my experiences is Britain owned three provinces in spain starting with the date on about middle 1800s up to 9999. Also, the Philippines has a province owned by britain and other european countries aside from spain starting with the date of 1870s up to 1898. Please fix the problem especially on crash issues in loading a saved game.
You can't install this as a normal mod. You need to paste over everything in ..\EU IV Golden Century\map (definition.csv is the main problem causer) in order to get the map to work properly, this also should get rid of the crash. (This is because the mod makes wastelands occupiable and this in turn messes up province IDs).
So you need to make a copy of the game's installation folder (C:Program Files/EU4 Golden Century) and then copy - paste from the unzipped mod folder and just replace everything to be sure (or just everything in provinces and do normal mod installation*). Best of luck!
* The second method messes up non-modded gameplay.
You need this to be in the C:\Users\User\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod folder, that's the mess up, sry.

It works perfectly but the culture in the Empire of Brazil (1821-1889) is listed as "no culture" instead of Brazilian.
I fixed the problem.
The error is in 'extendedtimeline.zip \ common \ cultures\00_cultures.txt' line 2772
Instead of "brazilian" the correct one is "iberian_brazilian".
Deserts and mountains have no penalty for development.
the mod crashes the game when playing.
everytime i launch the game it starts like vanilla and not in Extended Timeline. any help, please?
