For anyone without the year showing in campaign, and for many other errors you might get too.

THIS WORKS FOR THE NON STEAM VERSION. For the steam version i dont think so.

Twcenter.net

Dev fix. Extract at your EB2 folder in M2TW\mods\EBII and overwrite. Then open properties of EBII.cfg and make it READ ONLY.

For other fixes:

Actually ignore the "Make it Read Only" part" With this fix you wont have to. If you do you'll have to change the graphics every time you wanna play. So just overwrite.

I have 2 issues: the game crashes if I spend too much time in the faction selection when I start a new campaign, it also crashes during battles. Is it normal? do you have a fix for that?

OK i did, thanks for answering. In the latest hours I see some messages of other people having my same issue. I hope you will find a solution because I would really like to play your mod. Rome2 is really awful and I like that period :P

i know with most people that when the game crashes in a battle it might be that your pc cant handle it, don't know if this is the case but it has been with other people.

Tried to install but got a message of error... mine is the old retail version, not the Steam one... I choose the proper path for the installation, but it didn't work... am I doing something wrong or is it really a steam-only version?

@Vidalaac

It works for non steam and steam. I am using retail and its fine.

What was the error, when it happened, when you tried to launch with the shortcut? or was it in the middle of the installation process.

This might (check all the links at the first post to see which fix is for you) help. Twcenter.net(post-here)

And this:

It was when trying to launch with the shortcut. It oppened the Medieval menu and, when I clicked the EBII option a message appeared... I don't remmember the contente properly, but it was about failling load something, I think...

But I will see the links you posted Wulfburk, thank you!

Simply install it to the mod folder in your Medieval 2 directory

Its usually something along the lines of My Programs/Sega/Medieval 2
